"censorship"
Realized that having a conversation in the edit description is a terrible way to go about things, so I'm leaving this here. Calling Aqua's clothing change "censorship" is extremely misleading because censorship in most cases only refers to a higher body. In this context that would refer to an executive at Square Enix, a government, Sony, or something like that. "Censorship" in colloquial use, referring to "covering" literally anything, is not usually used when talking about decisions related to the publication of a work. Especially the sentence "due to censorship" makes absolutely 0 sense, because it seems to refer to censorship as a "force" rather than citing the events surrounding the change. To my knowledge, Nomura made the decision to cover up Aqua's clothing entirely on his own, for whatever reason. If this is not the case, then the details regarding what led to the change should be put in to clarify the situation, otherwise putting the word "censorship" there is very confusing and leads people to believe that somebody other than Nomura made the decision. -A 67.168.190.229
:I've revised the passage to use the term "self-censorhip", which is what it's called when an author modifies a part of their work out of concern for society's sensibilities. 01:01, 23 February 2016 (UTC)

Woody and Buzz
According to a recent interview with Nomura Woody and Buzz were never really properly planned to appear in the game:
:"——Toy Story finally arrived in Kingdom Hearts 3, but elements related to the film of Pixar were already founded in both Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II code. Can you tell us why they weren’t inserted in those games, in the end?
Nomura: I always wanted Toy Story in Kingdom Hearts, and I already hoped to insert a world based on it in the first chapter. For this reason, I asked our staff to create something related to Toy Story, in case we were able to get the OK from the Disney. Sadly no possibility were given to us and so the idea never entered in the development stage."

::But in a more recent interview, he talked about how it's false that they were only intended to show to disney as proof of concept, not for the sake of adding to the game. 12:16, 29 June 2018 (UTC)

:Does this happen in the regular game too? I thought it was specifically changed for ReMind. In my opinion that's a drastic change, it should be covered here. -- 19:22, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
::It's the result of the 1.09 update. The change went live a full day before Re Mind was out in New Zealand. --Samoa Joe (talk) 20:22, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
Game Studio
It's a minor detail, but although the main page says proposals for KH1 were brought to Buena Vista, according to Wikipedia they were Disney Interactive from 1994-2002, and it says Disney Interactive on the game itself. However, Wikipedia also says, "Buena Vista Games is probably best known for the Kingdom Hearts series along with Japanese developer Square Enix." under the 2003-2007 section. Does anyone know which one is right? -- mikoto 07:32, 6 April 2023 (UTC)
Terminology
I've been looking at the file name for files in the article and come to the realized there is no real cohesive or consistent naming scheme for them and those that are named don't make sense in correlation to each other. The naming for files are as follow; Unused, Removed, and Demo.
Like, why is "File: Disney Castle Trailer KH.png" not noted on what kind of naming it is, but "File:Kingdom Hearts coded cutscene (Removed) 02 KHC.png", despite both them appearing in early trailer/screenshots is.
I think the wiki needs to reclassify/reorganized/define all the different uses of the naming term based on how its used in video game development, so as follow;
* Unused - Media that were made but not used in the final product, but doesn't appear in press/early media. Ex: File:Kingdom Key D KH3D.png is an example of a Unused element that was never shown off.
Purposed name: Kingdom Key D (Unused) KH3D.
* Removed - Media that were made but not used in the final product, but does appear in press/early media. Ex: File:Jungle King (card).png is an example of a Removed element that was shown off, but doesn't appear in the final product.
Purposed name: Jungle King (card) (Removed) KHCOM.
* Beta - Media that were made but change between revealed and final released. Ex: File:Aqua (Unused) 02 KHBBS.png is an example of a Beta element that was changed for final released.
Purposed name: Aqua (Beta) 02 KHBBS.png.
* Demo - Stuff really only apply to the KH3D Demo content and there really not much to change for them.
Thats about it, thanks for coming to my tedtalk. 16:15, 10 June 2023 (UTC)
:I definitely agree that the current naming pattern makes no sense. That said, it might be cleaner to just have most files as Removed – regardless of if it was shown off, it still was planned for the game and subsequently cut. If we know what build of the game the content is from, then Demo, Alpha, or Beta would be appropriate, but I'm not sure what we gain from differentiating Unused and Removed.
:For instance, unique versions of both "Guardando nel buio" and "He's a Pirate" were found in the files of KHII, but since only one was refitted for the final game, they would be titled differently. Likewise, having both "Unused" and "Removed" stumbles when considering concept art and interviews about early content released after the game itself. It just seems easier to have it all under the "Removed" umbrella, especially since it's all going on Removed content and :Category:Removed content anyway. —Aid1043 15:08, 11 June 2023 (UTC)
::Right, thats fine. Simplifying and Categorizing terms would be easier. So something like;
Beta - Media that were made, but change between revealed and final released.
Removed - Media that were made, but **not** used in the final product..
This should make everything easier to categorized. 01:42, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
