Wouldn't it be better to move the navbars at the bottom to each of the respective gear articles. I know navbars are meant to stay at the bottom but it makes sense to move each navbar beneath its respective section since it organises things more and some readers may not see the navbars at the bottom (which are extremely important in this case). {{User:TheFifteenthMember/Sig1}} 17:00, 26 March 2013 (UTC)

A couple of thoughts about this page. First, it might be worth it to add a section covering the gearless weapons, since those don't really fit anywhere else and there's a navbox of gearless weapons already anyway.
My second thought was that, while there's no precise patterns as to which gears grant weapons that are palette swaps or what attributes they specialize in, there are some general patterns that emerge for the Organization members (the non-members all follow a rather simple pattern of course). Some examples of this are:
1. The weapons granted by Skill Gear, Loaded Gear, Valor Gear, and (except for Roxas/Xion) Gearless only ever consist of 2 different shapes. Either there are 2 pairs of palette swaps, a trio of palette swaps and 1 standalone design, or in the case of Roxas/Xion, 1 pair of palette swaps and 1 standalone. These weapon designs are furthermore not used by any other gear.
2. The remaining 10 "basic" Gears, those boosting only a single attribute, are never palette swaps of each other, with 10 distinct designs for each Organization member. Furthermore, certain design elements appear to be consistent among these weapons which boost the same attributes (e.g. Air Combo weapons usually have a wavy design or a sharp curve with protruding spikes; Power weapons often have a toothed-like appearance like that seen on Laxaeus's Skysplitter or a structure that resembles its counterweight).
3. The 6 dual-attribute Gears (e.g. Crisis, Hazard, etc.) always grant weapons that are palette swaps of the 10 designs previously listed. Further, 1 of the 2 attributes boosted by these weapons is always shared with the weapon's palette swap. Other than Zexion (who seems to break numerous patterns for no reason), there are always 4 distinct attribute pairs among these weapons.
4. Weapons specializing in the same attribute or attribute generally share the same color scheme for a specified character (different characters can use different color schemes). With the exception of Zexion (and possibly Laxaeus), gears with the same icon specialize in the same attributes.
5. The remaining Gears all grant unique weapon designs (unless you count the Kingdom Key+) not used by other gears.
Again, not sure if this is worth mentioning in the article, but I thought it was interesting. --[[User:JeruTz|JeruTz]] ([[User talk:JeruTz|talk]]) 18:28, 8 February 2023 (UTC)
