Kingdom Hearts Magical Canvas (ングダム ハーツマジカルキャンバス Kingudamu Hātsu Majikaru Kyanbasu?), also written as KH Magical Canvas, is a mini-game application available through Kingdom Hearts Mobile. It is a Kingdom Hearts-themed version of the nonogram puzzle game.

Kingdom Hearts Magical Canvas was released on April 23, 2009. It was discontinued on April 30, 2013 along with the rest of Kingdom Hearts Mobile.

Mechanics[edit]

The mini-game follows the tradition rules of nonogram puzzles with no modifications. The goal is to color cells within a grid to reveal a hidden picture. Each row and column has a series of numbers that indicates groups of filled cells. For instance, the clue "6, 1, 4" means that the row or column as a group of six colored cells in a row, followed by a single colored cell, and then a group of four, each group separated by at least one empty cell.

There 30 different puzzles of varying sizes. Initially, two 5x5 and three 10x10 puzzles are unlocked, with larger grids becoming available every five puzzles cleared. Solving a puzzle within a certain amount of time will award a bronze, silver, or gold crown.

While solving a puzzle, Sora will walk around the puzzle grid. He will always move to the opposite corner of the cursor so as to not obstruct the player's vision. If the cursor is still for several seconds or a certain milestone in the puzzle is reached, Sora will interject with a dialogue bubble.
