The strategy for taking down Marluxia's Data Rematch is the same, but he has more health. Marluxia however, now begins the match by both applying the Flower Wreath upon Sora, while also then warping to the center of the arena in order to deploy his Disturbed Bloom pools he often uses in the second phase. It is possible to be aggressive at the start of the battle to prevent him from deploying his Disturbed Bloom, though the player needs to pay attention to when the Flower Wreath will detonate. From there, Marluxia will just resort to using his usual slashes or Tornado Slash until the second phase is triggered.
The strategy for taking down Marluxia's Data Rematch is the same, but he has more health. Marluxia, however, now begins the match by warping to the center of the arena, so try to intercept him quickly or spam Firaga until he emerges. Whenever he does this, he now instantly surrounds Sora with an aura of thorns. In addition, every successive time after the first that Sora uses '''Restore Count''', the amount of points he regains is cut by a half (13, 7, 3, 2, 1). As such, it's even more crucial to utilize Sora's defensive options this time around than ever. If Sora is close to level 99, his normal strikes should not be an issue.

Otherwise, if Marluxia is left alone at the start of the battle, he may keep trying to use Flower Wreath on the party, and instead takes his time walking towards Sora until he's within enough range to use his slash attacks. However, he may also use his Tornado Slash's vacuum effect to suck Sora into any of the pools from Disturbed Bloom if they have not vanished yet, so take caution and be sure to try and jump and glide away from Marluxia if you choose to remain passive at the start of the battle; watch out for the Flower Wreath detonations!
Depending on Sora's Level and/or his strength stat however, one single usage of '''Aerial Strike''' leading into a combo may result in enough damage to suddenly lead into Marluxia's second phase.

The second phase may also instead have Marluxia instead transition straight into Bloom Shark after using Disturbed Bloom without apply Flower Wreath, so be wary of when he twirls his scythe so you can counter attack right away after blocking.
