However, there are bosses on which Reality Shift cannot be activated through the means of dealing damage, and instead, some have certain requirements to be met in order to show a prompt, and others never having prompts appearing at all.  
During the boss fights against the [[Commantis]], [[Chill Clawbster]], [[Pete]] and the [[Beagle Boys]], and {{ns|Game|Young Xehanort}}, Reality Shifts can only be activated if certain requirements are met, typically depleting a fixed amount of HP. During the boss fights against [[Phantom Ursula]], [[Wargoyle]] (as Sora), [[Holey Moley]], {{ns|Game|Xemnas}}, [[Anti Black Coat]], [[Armored Ventus Nightmare]], and [[Julius]], Reality Shifts are disabled entirely.
