That is just sad. Doctors are supposed to give us hope but also prepare us for the worse. Not say something like "any day now".

I know. I don't even know what I did wrong ; I got a shelling from my dad yesterday for no apparent reason (he decided to take all his stress out on me), and that's when he told me that.

Conforting is as hard as mathematics. The best you can do is stay by her side and do everything you can to help her through this hard time. And try to prepare her for the worse. She will be devasted if it happens but at least she will be able to move on.
