Sniper Wild (スナイパーワイルド Sunaipā Wairudo?) is an Emblem Heartless that is found in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix. It bears a distinct physical similarity to the Bouncywild, albeit with a different fur color. It is, however, more powerful, and appears only in the Second District of Traverse Town. It appears to be female, like the Bouncywild.

Locations

Strategy

The amount of experience points it yields depends on how many have been defeated in a row, which is then factored by 10, meaning the first will yield 10 experience points, the next 20, then 30, and so on. Each defeated Sniper Wild also increases the chance of one of them dropping a Power Drop. However, this is given that you are not spotted by the Sniper Wild. As soon as one is spotted, it will call for backup and new Sniper Wilds will spawn all over the Second District, in which case, they will no longer yield experience nor items.

The most common way to avoid being seen to stay out of sight and cast Stop, as soon as one is close enough to lock on to the Sniper Wild, attack it a few times and run into hiding before the effects of Stop wears off. When one Sniper Wild is defeated, two new will spawn, when they are defeated, three new will spawn, and when these are defeated, it goes back to one. This loop seems infinite, as long as one is not spotted. However, if spotted and not defeated instantly, more and more will spawn until Sora gets hit in all directions.
