:Since it's about that time, just a reminder to folks uploading KH3 images: Confirmed/reputable sources; no watermarks; '''PROPERLY''' name and categorize each file you upload (if there is a question on this, ask me/a staff member, see our [[KHWiki:Media policy|Media policy]], see the [[:Category:Kingdom Hearts III images|KH3 image category]]); and fill out the template you see on the upload screen. Thank you! *goes back to fangirling over KH3* {{User:Xion4ever/Sig}} 03:45, 12 June 2018 (UTC)
More stuff on the [http://press.na.square-enix.com/products/p250/kingdom-hearts-iii official SENA press centre]. :Okay, so far, I've had the energy today to upload all the images that were already transparent from the Japanese KH site, including world logos. I'm not very good at removing the white space from the rest of the official press assets (the white isn't just deleting as easily as I'd like it to), so someone will need to do that, or we can wait till KHInsider inevitably does it themselves (probably by noon tomorrow). {{KeybladeSpyMaster/Sig}} 06:19, 12 June 2018 (UTC)
::Also as I am not an uploader, the two additional videos from E3 still need to be uploaded, the Showcase trailer and the Pirates of the Caribbean trailer and the renders of Sora, Donald and Goofy from the Caribbean world in their pirate clothes. -[[User:Adv193|Adv193]] ([[User talk:Adv193|talk]]) 10:14, 12 June 2018 (UTC)
:Took care of linking the videos, but they still need their summaries. In regards to all these screenshots, mainly cutscenes, I'm not opposed to uploading them now, but that will create additional renaming work later. They could live in the unused images category or in the mainspace galleries. Proper name would be "File:Content E3 2018 Trailer ##.png?" Thoughts on that? EDIT: Also, keep in mind that images taken from official websites will have watermarks, which is against our image policy. {{User:Xion4ever/Sig}} 13:32, 12 June 2018 (UTC)
== Draft links ==
So, we now have draft pages for the new KH3 articles. But do we want to link to those on this page and the KH3 template, or keep the red link to the future page. And on the draft pages, should there be links to the other draft pages, or also red links to the future pages? Having the draft links would lower the amount of red links, and direct people to the drafts, but people might see them as the official page, and the reason we're doing the drafts is so we can create pages that aren't official yet. {{User:TheSilentHero/Sig}} 16:45, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
:We wouldn't need to be discussing this in the first place if we just got rid of the concept of drafts for '''''literally everything''''' on the basis that there's a 0.0001 chance Rapunzel and Elsa will be removed in the game, or perhaps there may be a Heartless removed in a world due to an inaccuracy between a trailer and the final release of the game. I don't know any other wiki that takes this idea to such extremism. No offense, while I appreciate your contribs to the wiki, I still think drafts are a silly idea. This is a fan wiki. '''''Nothing of anything on here''''' is technically official. If you go to KH Wiki and think it's all official and not a group of fans trying to do their best, then you're a lost cause. No one's going to hold anything against us. We're trying to be so hard to be technically correct that it's doing us damage in my opinion. We should get rid of drafts and just use Template:Unreleased everywhere. Also, I don't see a big deal in removing sources when it comes to things that are so blatantly obvious. We literally saw Arendelle in a trailer, do we really need to keep a link to an old interview where Frozen is confirmed? In my opinion, references should be reserved for rarer and hard-to-find information, not for information which should be common sense by now. [[User:Soroxas|Soroxas]] ([[User talk:Soroxas|talk]]) 18:01, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
::"I don't know any other wiki that takes this idea to such extremism." -- TFwiki, one of the highest reputation wikis on the net.
::"perhaps there may be a Heartless removed in a world due to an inaccuracy between a trailer and the final release of the game." -- or we get a situation like [[Taunt]], where people suggested we just assume the technique is still in the Final Mix, why would they remove it, and the wiki didn't catch it until I personally got annoyed that I couldn't unlock all the abilities in my pre-FM guide, and figured out what had happened.
::"No one's going to hold anything against us." -- This is categorically false. The fandom has criticized the wiki for unsourced/outdated information a crapton.
::"it's doing us damage in my opinion." -- What stats are you basing this on?
::"We literally saw Arendelle in a trailer" -- as has been explained ''every single time'', there are a crapton of things in trailers that get removed from the final version, including whole worlds. Yes, we're nearing the endgame where stuff is less likely to be removed. We also are not sacrificing any of our reliability by waiting until the actual release of the game.
::"not for information which should be common sense by now." -- [[Removed content]]. Until we get Kingdom Hearts Final Final Mix which has all of the stuff removed from the first game put back in, this is a fallacious argument.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 18:55, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
:::Also, your edits put in a huge amount of speculation that is ''not'' "common sense". I can't speak for all readers, but my opinion of a wiki ''plummets'' as soon as I start seeing stuff like "strongly implied", "likely to be", etc.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 18:57, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
::::An interview already said they don't intend to do a Final Mix. Even then, it doesn't change my opinion about how drafts are unnecessary and just complicate things, and how it's redundant and unnecessary when we can just add a "content may change in final release" warning. As for speculation, you'd need to clarify. I don't think I add a "huge" amount at all, nor are they huge stretches. I don't see a "no speculation of any sort" policy of sorts of a wiki. We already saw what seems to be Riku Replica in a trailer so I don't see the issue with mentioning his existence on the article, nor do I see an issue with mentioning Big Hero 6's world will probably be called San Fransokyo. It's not like we're not claiming it's San Fransokyo as a fact. [[User:Soroxas|Soroxas]] ([[User talk:Soroxas|talk]]) 19:21, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
:::::"Riku Replica" could be KH1 Riku, through time travel, or someone completely different. Just because it looks like him, doesn't mean it's him (Take Ventus and Roxas for example). And we're supposed to only list facts. If a name hasn't been confirmed, we're not going to say it will probably be this or that. We wait until we have a confirmed name. {{User:TheSilentHero/Sig}} 19:27, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
::::::"An interview already said they don't intend to do a Final Mix." -- Birth by Sleep Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts 3D HD both exist, despite Nomura stating explicitly that he had no intention to make them. That was also ''not'' the point of that response -- so long as the topics listed in the [[Removed content]] article continue to be removed content, then the trailers ''fundamentally'' cannot be treated as representing final content.
::::::You are free to have that opinion. It's factually wrong. There is an ''entire article'' of reasons why it is not accurate to assume that things shown in trailers are set in stone. [[Help:Editing]] explicitly states speculation is forbidden. You may not see issues with making assumptions, but both the wiki's policies and standard editing guidelines (Ex. on wikipedia) understand why it is strictly forbidden.
::::::You are correct that you clearly marked your copious speculation as speculation. That only makes it honest, it does ''not'' make it acceptable quality. Having such notices on a list of what is supposed to be ''confirmed'' information makes the page look like a fan-blog or forum post.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 20:16, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
== Kingdom hearts 3 beta ==
is kingdom hearts 3 ever going to have a beta stage?

==Keyblade Names==
So, I didn't know where else to put this, however - in the KHIII demo we learned that the Kingdom of Corona Keyblade is called Ever After, the Monstropolis Keyblade is called Smile Gear, and the Toy Box Keyblade is called Infinity Badge. As well, it's been public knowledge that Riku's new Keyblade is called Braveheart, as Square lists it as such in merchandising for both a Keyblade Keychain and I believe the Bring Arts Figure of Kingdom Hearts III Riku as well. Furthermore, the Keyblade that we've seen Sora wielding since almost the very beginning of KHIII development (blue with a star theme) is called Shooting Star according to Square Enix's Keyblade Keychains merchandise page:

==Videos page in suite==
If no one has an issue, I'd like to move all the videos to its own suite page, like the Gallery. There's literally 19 YouTube videos which need to load everytime someone wants to visit the KH3 article, and we're going to be adding another 2 more vids due to the upcoming trailers. It's going to be a pain in the butt for all the KH3 article editing. I imagine this is the first time the wiki has had to deal with something like this.
I'm getting a lagspike every time I visit the article and I have a decent gaming PC, so I can't imagine what it's like for someone with a low-tier laptop or something. Considering this is going to be the most popular article on the wiki for quite some time, we should be mindful of people with worse specs. [[User:Soroxas|Soroxas]] ([[User talk:Soroxas|talk]]) 12:41, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
:I mean, there's not a lot of ''point'' to this article other than the videos, but I think we could work with a [[Gallery:Kingdom Hearts III/Trailers]] page.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 13:36, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
::I don't see a problem with moving the trailers to the video-space. [[Video:Kingdom Hearts III]] would do it. {{KeybladeSpyMaster/Sig}} 14:09, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
:::I prefer something simpler so I'd go with KSM's recommendation, but maybe "Videos" over "Video" because technically, there's going to be multiple videos. Just "Video" makes it sound like there's only going to be one video. [[User:Soroxas|Soroxas]] ([[User talk:Soroxas|talk]]) 14:27, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
::::I agree with KSM, since we already have a Video namespace. I don't see the need to change it to videos, since we have other namespaces like Form and Card that are also singular, even though they contain multiple forms and cards on a single page. {{User:TheSilentHero/Sig}} 14:58, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
== Marvel ==
I'm a bit confused with the "no Marvel world" citation -- surely BH6 counts?{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 17:21, 2 January 2019 (UTC)
:Yes and no? It's based on a film based on a Marvel comic, but the film itself doesn't carry the Marvel label. The term "Marvel" in the context of Disney seems to refer not to the comics, but the films in the MCU and published under the Marvel Studios name. {{KeybladeSpyMaster/Sig}} 17:23, 2 January 2019 (UTC)
::Actually, from what I heard, ''Disney Infinity'' classifies Big Hero 6 as a Disney original instead of Marvel, which means at least the movie doesn't count as a Marvel propriety. Also, apparently there's an ''X-Men'' comic from some point in the last three years where a character explicitly says Japan has no superheroes, despite BH6 being based in Japan. Because of that, there's a rumor that Marvel Comics no longer owns Big Hero 6 and Disney actually acquired the rights when making the movie. There's no official confirmation of it though, but there's an interview with someone from Marvel who said they wouldn't be doing a new BH6 comics series anytime soon because Disney would benefit more from it than Marvel themselves. {{User:G-SANtos/Sig}} 15:44, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
:::I mean...that's definitely bull from that author, then. [https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Japanese Here].{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 14:43, 28 January 2019 (UTC)
::::From what I've read, it seems like Marvel doesn't even own Big Hero Six anymore. The BH6 characters haven't appeared since 2012, two years before the movie came out. That's an even shorter end of the stick than the rival-owned properties. The X-Men managed to get a whole lot of books despite the Disney-Fox rivalry and Disney's goal of boosting the MCU properties. And even when Fantastic Four was cancelled, Human Torch was with the Inhumans and Thing was with the Guardians of the Galaxy. Kitty Pryde was Star-Lord's girlfriend for a while and even became the new Star-Lord. I find it very strange how Marvel Comics writers are free to play with Fox characters but can't even reference the animated movie that was a major hit for their parent company. It's like all the rights to Big Hero Six have been transferred to Disney, even the comic rights! [[User:SeanWheeler|SeanWheeler]] ([[User talk:SeanWheeler|talk]]) 23:59, 28 January 2019 (UTC)
==Overreferencing==
Overrferencing is a thing, also called [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_overkill citation overkill].
KH3 is out today. We don't need four references to prove San Fransokyo is in the game, or even a single reference anymore, because the information is readily available now. I'm going to be deleting the obvious unnecessary references. For example, we don't need to prove the game is on Xbox One anymore. After a certain point, a lot of information becomes common sense.
Also, I'm not sure what we're going to do about spoilers. Maybe spoiler warnings and toggles? Or maybe change the font text to white for a while so only willing people will highlight it. [[User:Soroxas|Soroxas]] ([[User talk:Soroxas|talk]]) 12:23, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
:Now that the game is out, we don't need refs for everything, no. For spoilers, you need to place it between <nowiki>{{spoiler}} and {{spoilerend}}</nowiki>. This will allow people to skip past everything between there. {{User:TheSilentHero/Sig}} 20:05, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
==KH3 Cast List==
Here are my links from Youtube for anyone who wishes to view the cast list for the game. The ones from the Japanese version do have English text so there should be no translation issues.
For the English version: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHjzB34J5k0 Kingdom Hearts 3 Full Ending Credits Part 3/3 (SPOILERS) (LEAK)] (don't worry this just only has the credits so don't worry about spoilers regarding the ending)
For the Japanese version: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sa2mgyaYRUg Kingdom Hearts 3 - Walkthrough - #06 Final Boss & Ending (Full Game) PS4 PRO] (Please move the timer directly to 3:10:00 to avoid any spoilers if you wish to avoid getting spoiled.
That is all I have to share but this can be used to help source the cast list for Kingdom Hearts III. Note that as usual for the English version they will not post the cast names next to the Disney characters so other sources may be needed to help confirm them, but this list will help identify they were involved. Lastly characters like Daisy Duck, Minnie Mouse, Aeleus, and Dilan do not have any dialogue in this game, while the Foretellers have been listed in the credits, I confirmed they are part of the Epilogue ending. -16:05, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
Also one thing I have yet to accomplish is that while [[Huey, Dewey, and Louie]] is stated to have appeared via the end credits, I have yet to discover their location. -[[User:Adv193|Adv193]] ([[User talk:Adv193|talk]]) 16:31, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
:They're in Twilight Town, across from the Moogle. Aeleus grunts.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 19:47, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
== Name of Kairi and Lea's training world ==
The Theater Mode and hashtags in the "Kingstagram" loading screens identify this world as the '''Secret Forest''', going by how other worlds are mentioned in the same fashion. Should we create a page for it? [[User:Immblueversion|Immblueversion]] ([[User talk:Immblueversion|talk]]) 18:47, 23 February 2019 (UTC)
:Sure, but it's not confirmed it's a world or just an area, though.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 23:51, 23 February 2019 (UTC)
== Banana Flan glitch ==
I find it absurd UnknownChaser doesn't want to mention this glitch on this article when it can literally delete 100 HOURS of play time or more. It exists. I don't see why Square or some news site has to report on it for us to be able to mention it. Read the comments section too:

: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/718920-kingdom-hearts-iii/77470021
There's also someone here who got hit by save corruption (didn't explain a reason):
: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/718920-kingdom-hearts-iii/77455250
I want to re-add it to the article. By not giving it awareness, we're just making it worse for the players who don't know of this glitch, and it will also make Square less aware of it, and ultimately hurt the chances of getting a patch. Being overly pedantic about this horrible save-corrupting glitch by saying "well, Square hasn't acknowledged it" is silly when it totally does exist. [[User:Soroxas|Soroxas]] ([[User talk:Soroxas|talk]]) 15:39, 14 March 2019 (UTC)
:Since no one has replied, I'm adding it back. [[User:Soroxas|Soroxas]] ([[User talk:Soroxas|talk]]) 05:45, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
::I believe that the bug should be mentioned, identically to on the 2.5 remix page. However, our precedent is to use actual videos of the crash.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 14:08, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
:::The part about the glitch was removed because there was no source, not because UnknownChaser didn't ''want'' to mention it, and making up reasons why other people do things is not very nice. Also, instead of reacting with "I find it absurd" and "Being overly pedantic about this (...) is silly when it totally does exist", you could have just provided a source. I believe this is something of a recurring issue, but if people revert you or remove something you added, it's not a personal attack on you, they're just following the MoS. As for an official source, I don't think Square Enix would really announce bugs, but a video is way more trustworthy than some random Reddit comments. {{User:TheSilentHero/Sig}} 15:27, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
::::I'm not "making up" anything. Their edit summary was "And there is no official source on this bug" so they removed it. It makes it seem as if there's no source decent enough, even if there's plenty of people from GameFAQs and Reddit confirming it exists. When I said "doesn't want to mention this glitch", I meant with the "without an official source". So are you saying I can't add it back, even if I cite GameFAQs and Reddit? [[User:Soroxas|Soroxas]] ([[User talk:Soroxas|talk]]) 17:57, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
:::::Why not just ask Unknown Chaser what they meant? I'm not seeing any indication they were even ''aware'' of the Reddit/gamefaqs discussion -- instead, it looks like they were removing a passage that had been left uncited.
:::::I'm not sure there's a specific policy on what kind of sources would be required, but on the other pages that discuss such bugs, we've required photo or video evidence, just like a standard bug report would.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 19:22, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
::::::Can't we make exceptions based on quantity of reports and severity of the glitch? I mean, I could try to record a video of it. I don't mind my save being wiped because Critical Mode is supposedly going to be patched in anyway, and I plan to restart over with that anyway. [[User:Soroxas|Soroxas]] ([[User talk:Soroxas|talk]]) 19:31, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
::::::On second thought, they might do that "Critical Mode must be unlocked by beating the game" BS, so I'm going to keep my cleared save file for now. This will have to be put on hold for now. [[User:Soroxas|Soroxas]] ([[User talk:Soroxas|talk]]) 18:47, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
:::::::That being said, I'd be okay with putting it up with citation needed, and then in comments listing the non-final cites listed above.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 20:21, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
:::::::Alright, nice. If TheSilentHero agrees, then we should do that. [[User:Soroxas|Soroxas]] ([[User talk:Soroxas|talk]]) 20:23, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
It's unlikely that we will be getting an official bug report from SE, so yes, the next best thing is generally to get some sort of evidence other than "they said it happens". I think we all have enough experience with the internet to know that just because a lot of people say something is true doesn't make it true. Video evidence will be best. Of course, this will be tricky to get, since it happens at random, but if we get it, then that should be enough. I wonder if any of this was patched with the Day 1 patch... If it's a known issue, it may be patched whenever they push the Critical Mode DLC. {{KeybladeSpyMaster/Sig}} 21:18, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
==Sora Confused about Vanitas's face==
When Sora first saw Vanitas, it was in Dream Drop Distance; unmasked to top it off. Did he think Vanitas was simply some kind of dark illusion created by Xehanort to unnerve him at the time?
