Is his official name "Mr. Smee" or "Smee"? The page is called Mr. Smee, but that name is only used in the BBS Story section.
EternalNothingnessXIII Pitiful Heartless, mindlessly collecting hearts. The rage of the Keyblade releases those hearts. They gather in darkness, masterless and free...until they weave together to make Kingdom Hearts. And when that time comes, we can truly, finally exist. — 20:43, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
His name should be whatever he is referred to most often across the various games' Journals. That's how I feel our articles should ALWAYS be named...

I believe the Wiki policy is to use the most recent game's name, which is BBS in this case.
TheFifteenthMemberYes. You're creepy. I can't say we'll miss you while you're gone, so it'd be best if you did go. We all win that way.— TheFifteenthMember 00:01, 30 December 2014 (UTC)
Actually, I believe we are required to use the most stable name that the games provide, which generally is the name that is used most, not particularly the most recent.

No, actually, the Manual of Style says we use the first name provided, if the games have changed the subject's name.
"If the official name of a subject has been changed in later episodes of Kingdom Hearts, please use the first name. However, redirects can be made using the later names."
Unless I'm wrong, and the Manual of Style needs to be updated (which, it probably does anyways).
TheFifteenthMemberI like white. I find it goes well with yellow, but only if you want it to.— TheFifteenthMember 00:19, 30 December 2014 (UTC)
Then, I concur. I am satisfied with what you quoted from the MoS.
EternalNothingnessXIII Cast away your useless fear. Open your heart. Embrace the darkness.
The Manual of Style is severely in need of updating, yes. The policy from the MoS refers to subjects with multiple names, like the Rabid Dog ("Snapper Dog" in 358/2 Days). So Smee does not necessarily fit that. Still, as I said and FifteenthMember said, whichever name is the most "stable" (the one used in the game most often) is the one we should use.
Did/has anyone bothered to check what the game says? Xion4ever 02:03, 30 December 2014 (UTC)
