[[Sora]], [[Donald]], and [[Goofy]] enter [[Traverse Town]], confused as to how they got there. They think back on how they met, and decide to eat at a cafe. Suddenly, the candles go out, and they are attacked by [[Heartless]]. Having forgotten how to fight, they get overwhelmed, until [[Leon]] appears and defeats the Heartless. When Sora greets Leon, he claims to have never met any of them. Sora tries to convinve him by telling him about their farewell in [[Hollow Bastion]]. Leon calls out Sora's name, despite not remembering him. [[Yuffie]] appears, and suggests this is what [[Aerith]] was sensing. Yuffie knows their names, despite not remembering them, and claims her heart remembers them. | |||
At the [[Small House]], Sora, Donald, and Goofy join Leon, Yuffie, Aerith, and [[Cid]] for dinner. Aerith believes Sora's memories are affecting theirs, causing them to remember their names.
