*It's interesting to note that, during Beast's Castles storyline in Kingdom Hearts II, Xaldin plays a role extremely similar to that of Forte, the main antagonist in Beauty and the Beast's direct-to-video midquel "Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas". Both characters attempt to achieve their goal by manipulating the Beast into believing that Belle is scheming to take everything away from him.
