They aren't fake and only appeared without Keychains on the secret ending of Kingdom Hearts II. By snetonobre

*Fans argue whether the Keyblade of People's Hearts was a true keyblade, those in favor basing their opinions on speculated theories. However, when Sora talks with Leon at Traverse Town after his first trip to Hollow Bastion, Leon explains that the Keyblade of People's Hearts was not a true Keyblade, as it was forged out of six of the seven princesses of heart's hearts, and, like Hollow Bastion's keyhole, would remain incomplete without the heart of the seventh princess, Kairi. Since Sora's use of the Keyblade of People's Hearts was a heroic sacrifice, instead of a malicious intention of use, the Keyblade of People's Hearts unraveled back to the six hearts of the princesses, which returned to their bodies.

However, it could be argued that both keychains returned in Kingdom Hearts II because both are fan favorites, and both represent Sora's friendship with Kairi and Riku respectively. Also, Oathkeeper had to return due to Sora's promise to Kairi that he would return to her with Riku.

But Master Xehanort has a keychain, as does his apprentice. So my question is, is a keychain something that a Keyblade wielder attains when they become a master? And does the fact that there are no Keyblade wielders in the timeline of the present Kingdom Hearts mean that the Keyblade had no choice but to grant Sora, Riku, and Kairi mastery?

So many incult people in the same talk page. Seriosly guys, and you consider your self fans of kingdom hearts. Terra, Aqua and Ven HAVE keychains in their keyblades. They just don't appeared in the secret ending of kingdom hearts II. Sora can use the Keyblade because it's heart is connected to Ventus heart, and Riku was covered in Darkness. Riku can use the Keyblade because Terra chose him as his sucessor. Kairi can use the Keyblade because she acidentally touched Aqua's Keyblade. By snetonobre.

Differing Lengths
So this isn't news, but all of the keyblades shared by Terra, Ventus, and Aqua in BBS have different lengths depending on who's wielding them. I'm just bringing this to light because all of the BBS keyblade pages only list a single length for all three characters, when this clearly isn't the case. I made this point on the Sweetstack page before realizing it was across the board; Terra has almost all long keyblades, Ventus short, and Aqua medium. There are definitely exceptions and probably cases of "extra" long or short, but I don't know if there's a verifiable way to go through all of them and determine the "official" length for each character. --tendo64 70.188.152.9 23:27, October 6, 2010 (UTC)
:The length listed is a modifier, just like the crit rate and crit boost. Each character has a default "length", and then this stacks on top of it. So, on the whole, "Long" Keyblades are longer than "Short" Keyblades. Why don't you try it just to see what happens? 00:55, October 7, 2010 (UTC)
Inheritance Ceremony
So, Nomura stated that only Keyblade Masters can do the ceremony, but yet Terra does it. Do we have an interview/source for Nomura saying this? And if so, how can we say that Terra performed it despite all this? The way it's written now, it implies that Terra is a Master.
:Terra is at the level of a Master, which would allow him to do as such. Of course, that's my opinion. maggosh 05:56, December 27, 2010 (UTC)
::Not just in your opinion. If I remember correctly, in the interview where Nomura talked about the ceremony, he said that Terra was a Master in all but name. So he has the skill and ability level of a Master, just not the title (unless you count Xehanort's promotion...). -- 06:22, December 27, 2010 (UTC)
:::But isn't the title technically what would make him able to procure the ceremony? And if not, could we say something like:
::::It is shown in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep that someone of Keyblade mastery level can choose a person as their successor, if they have the main qualities that allow them to hold a Keyblade, seen when Terra chose Riku to be his successor.

It's ALIVE
is it jsut me or does the Keyblade have a form of sentinace? For one it choses its master, not the otherway around. And it gives its power to it's weilder. It seems that the keyblade has a mind of its own (Rejecting Riku and moved to sora)although who ever is connected to it will continue to be connected to that chosen one unless they forget how to use it. {{17m|text= Since I can't think of a better place to put it and this is something about Keyblades in RCO in general, I'll just put it in here.
Shouldn't we use for Template:F instead of ? Since it's the second one that marks the end of Overclock Tree while the first one's more like an icon for MAX Overclock Finisher (can't explain that one). Here's a screenshot for that:

A few questions
Hey, I've got a question but I need to ask some other questions to clear some things up first. Is that ok? And is it ok if i do it here?(those are some of the "other questions" I mentioned). 97.81.45.56 19:29, 6 February 2013 (UTC) Rex Ronald Rilander
Well, that depends on the type of questions. The talk page is usually use to discuss things relating to the article itself, to help improve it, for example. If you're just confused about something, the you can head to the forums.-- 21:33, 6 February 2013 (UTC)
Well, actually, I can't go to the forums, whenever I try to it says "WEBSITE BLOCKED BY NETGEAR FIREWALL". It's because of my web browser, so to get my questions answered it has to be on a talk page. Now, for my next question: the pictures of Keyblades in the infoboxes are renders from the games they appear in, right? and each one is accompanied by a picture of the Keychain token, right? Oh, and I just want some answers so, sorry. 97.81.45.56 00:59, 7 February 2013 (UTC) Rex Ronald Rilander
:They are renders from the games, yes. -- 06:11, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
But the Keyblades from KH3D are pictures from KHInsider and lack a picture of the Keychain token, right? 97.81.45.56 17:53, 7 February 2013 (UTC) Rex Ronald Rilander
:You're right, the original source of the images is the Ultimania though. Currently 3DS games can't be decrypted so model and image rips are out of question. 20:18, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
What? Really? aw man. My last question was gonna be "How long until we have renders and pics of the tokens?" but if that's the case... Oh well. Thanks to all of you guys anyways, I know these questions had nothing to do with helping the article but you three answered them anyways. Next time I'll make sure to help the article. " There is also an alternate skin for Mickey in Disney Infinity 3.0 which resembles his Kingdom Hearts II outfit. However, the disc that would unlock the outfit was only given away to attendees of the 2015 D23 Expo, and wasn't sold anywhere else, which sparked some controversy from fans. "
This needs to be moved to the appropriate page, rewritten without "however" language (exclusive DLC is perfectly normal), and we need a source for there being controversy beyond the person who posted this. 17:34, 23 March 2016 (UTC)
