Dream EaterEdit

Should the character template be changed to reflect this? -  Eternal Nothingness XIII  09:11, 29 January 2015 (UTC)

Probably, but it's not clear at the moment if they also can exist as Nightmares, it's speculated that Ephemera's Chirithy is one though. --ShardofTruth 10:39, 29 January 2015 (UTC)

The different ChirithyEdit

I just want to post this somewhere since there is a lot of information and speculation flying around. The number of Chirithy we meet in the game is not quite clear. There is of course the player's Chirithy (presumed to be the same as in the bottle cutscene of mission 92 (チリシィ誕生)) and then there is the Chirithy that disappears when its player dies (first seen in a cutscene of mission 236 (それぞれのチリシィ) and vanishes in cutscene of mission 250 (チリシィの宿命)).
Additionally there is a third one that gives the Player the Power Bangle (I think that's what it's called in the NA version) in mission 200 (350 in the JP version) to use/collect Guilt (新たな力). A possibly fourth (darker) one can be seen in the scenes with Ephemera, but it's actually only seen and spoken to by the player's Chirithy. So there is a chance this not Ephemera's Chirithy at all. Furthermore it's implied in the Nightmare (ナイトメア) scene (not in Unchained yet), that this darker Chirithy eventually became the Nightmare Chirithy. The Nightmare Chirithy makes a mystery out of the identity of its player.
Then there is another unseen Chirithy. In the Crystals of Light event videos (光の結晶を集めてクポ & 光の結晶が集まったクポ, not in Unchained yet) there is someone who forces the Moogle to bring him these crystals. It hides in an alley but disappears with the same "Chirithy puff clouds".
It could very well be that these "evil" Chirithy are all the same character (going from collecting the crystals, to giving away the Power Bangle, to show the player the dream with the Foretellers and then becoming full Nightmare), but maybe they are all different characters. --ShardofTruth 17:12, 12 April 2016 (UTC)

It's times like this I don't understand why the Romans didn't just burn all the would-be Spartacii."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 20:29, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
Your are preaching to the choir, I still have hope though that everything will make sense in the end. --ShardofTruth 20:47, 12 April 2016 (UTC)

Ephemer's ChirithyEdit

Is it ever directly stated that the grey Chirithy is Ephemer's? When the Player's Chirithy asks, the grey one answers vaguely. Was there an interview or something that confirmed it? --ShadowsTwilight  13:34, 30 July 2016 (UTC)

It's not directly stated. Both this Chirithy and Ephemer appeared in the same story update, so it was just widely assumed. Given the fact that the Nightmare Chirithy still makes a secret out of its wielder in the latest cutscenes, it could be someone different. The last story update, where this question will finally be answered, will happen on August 8th. Should the section be rewritten or do we let this slide until then? --ShardofTruth 16:48, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
It was moved to the 18th. In any case I don't think it would be too much trouble to simply retitle him the Grey Chirithy, or something to that effect until then--ShadowsTwilight  20:42, 30 July 2016 (UTC)

The new renderEdit

Hello everyone! I am aware that a new Chirithy render was shown in the Famitsu article. However, once 2.8 releases, we're going to change those KHx renders to the nice HQ ones from 2.8, right? I hope so. Hallowseve97 (talk) 01:59, 15 September 2016 (UTC)

I understand your concern. But worry not, that is the rule, yes. Rex Ronald Rilander (talk) 03:24, 15 September 2016 (UTC)
That isn't 100% certain yet. I think we'll have to talk about it first. I think it's gonna happen though. --Ignis (talk) 03:52, 15 September 2016 (UTC)
If I recall correctly, the policy is that when a new game is released, characters which have new official renders get their infobox image updated. Although, after thinking it over, since Back Cover is about the Foretellers, we probably won't see Nightmare Chirithy. In which case, there wouldn't be a corresponding Nightmare render for the Spirit one. Rex Ronald Rilander (talk) 04:00, 15 September 2016 (UTC)
True, but Back Cover isn't a new game - it's merely a companion piece. Much like how on the FF wiki, one wouldn't use a render of Regis from Kingsglaive. And therein lies our minor issue - do we let it slide in this case? --Ignis (talk) 04:18, 15 September 2016 (UTC)
Good point, it's not a game, it's a movie. But so was the HD movie of Days in 1.5, and we have HD renders of Roxas, Axel, and Xion up on their pages. Rex Ronald Rilander (talk) 04:33, 15 September 2016 (UTC)
Eh, we'll see. We're still a few months away from actually replacing them anyhow. We got time to decide. --Ignis (talk) 04:58, 15 September 2016 (UTC)
We treat the digital movies as synonymous with games for this purpose -- they're in continuity, they're released with the games, and we have access to the HD images."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 12:53, 15 September 2016 (UTC)

Gender?Edit

This should have been brought up sooner, but what's Chirithy referred to in the game, male or female? The user who typically adds information to the article often refers to Chirithy as a male, using pronouns like "he" and "his", but I thought Chirithy was genderless. Just so the rest of the community is in agreement with this, shouldn't Chirithy just be referred to as "it" (or "they") and keep the pronouns gender neutral?--NinjaSheik 20:57, 3 December 2017 (UTC)

Unchained 0[Zero]Edit

Why is this listed as if it was a game? And why are we assuming that's the placement, instead of integrated with the Unchained dreams?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 17:03, 4 December 2017 (UTC)

Events dependent on Player's Union.Edit

What does this mean? None of the scenes listed seem to be only available for certain Unions."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 18:50, 1 August 2018 (UTC)

I think it's supposed to refer to the fact that depending on which Union the player chooses, that specific Foreteller appears. Whoever added it probably just phrased incorrectly.--NinjaSheik 19:36, 3 August 2018 (UTC)
In that case, since this page is written mostly with Union vagueness, it shouldn't be needed."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 14:17, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
Agreed.--NinjaSheik 20:35, 6 August 2018 (UTC)

Should Nightmare Chirity have a seperate article?Edit

Should this wiki do like KH Insider and give Nightmare Chirity a seperate article? --46.7.1.2 01:23, 21 July 2019 (UTC)

If we're splitting each of the Chirithys, sure."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 05:30, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
