Scan is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. It allows the user to find an enemy's weakness to power up their attacks.
Mechanics
In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Scan is an attack command that has no element and does not deal damage. It changes the element of Feather Shuriken and Flaw Dive to match the enemy's weakness and adds a corresponding status effect. It also increases the number of hits dealt by Feather Shuriken.
