When it comes to these things, I like to think in terms of the plot and story first, rather than the franchise itself. For instance, "The past will be awakened...". The people connected to Sora's heart come from his past or the past in general, so the idea of them being awakened probably has to do with the fact that he has to "awaken" them from "sorrow and slumber". However "...never-before-seen detail!" kind of throws me off in that theory, so it supports the remake theory more. Still, if that's the case, I would still stand by my BbS vol.2 theory, because from the looks of things, it might give a little more insight of the events that happened between BbS and 3D, giving light to a couple of details or plot holes, and maybe even focusing on the two yet untold stories of Riku and Mickey in the Realm of Darkness. But until Nomura says ANYTHING about either of the remakes or the 2nd volume, we're pretty much stuck. We'll just have to wait...this is why I hate the period of time after a game is released, you don't get to hear anything new for a couple of months, and the year is still not over yet. :(}} | |||
