{{LapisScarab|time=03:17, October 17, 2010 (UTC)|text=I think its more that frequent editors of the wiki are just more inclined to revert IP edits. We associate them with vandals, which isn't fair, but I don't know if there's any way to change that. Its really more of a subconscious thing, and if you've fallen into that habit, you'll only catch yourself if you always think about it, which I try to do. We should always be able to provide a reason -preferably one in line with the MoS or general policy - for reverting any edit, whether they come from IPs or not. If we can't, the edit probably shouldn't be reverted.}}

{{SC|time=03:56, October 17, 2010 (UTC)|armor=I'm only speaking for myself, but I always check and see what the edit did before I even think about reverting anything. But yeah, I agree, this is a problem. I'm pretty sure this kind of issue happened with NeutraVega and NinjaShiek a while ago, not pointing any names or fingers, just saying that this is a frequent problem that needs to get fixed.}}

{{ST|text=belive me, Kryten, I have no problem criticizing when it needs done. I try to only undo edits that are dead wrong, poorly done, or flat-out vandalism. If people are undoing IP edits because they're IP edits or if they're not undoing yours because they're your edits, then you're right we have an issue here}}
{{KKD|time=[[User:KingdomKeyDarkside|KingdomKeyDarkside]] 05:12, October 17, 2010 (UTC)|yugi=If I'm ever dealing with IPs, I ''always'' check the edit before I undo it. That being said, I always try to give benefit of the doubt. If I'm certain that the edit was misinformed or wrong, I undo it. If I even have a shadow of a doubt, I leave it be, and of course, if it's right, I'll leave it.}}
{{neumannz|time=05:34, October 17, 2010 (UTC)|text=I'm more or less the same. If I'm really not sure about an edit, I'll let it be and see how other editors react to it--although maybe that's not the right approach. Otherwise, if it looks good I leave it; if it doesn't, I edit/revert it.}}

{{BebopKate|time=21:08, October 17, 2010 (UTC)|text=Indeed, editors should always, ''always'' check the content of the edit before deleting or reverting.  If the edit is constructive, it should be left, regardless of who posted it.  The whole point of this place is anyone can edit, including those who do not have registered accounts.
However, if it is obvious trolling or inappropriate ("Sora rulez!"), then it's fine to remove it.  If it keeps happening, alert a staffer to help keep an eye on the situation in case blocking or banning is needed.
If this is a big issue, then we should address it, correct?}}
{{Bluer|22:21, October 17, 2010 (UTC)|It's an issue every wiki has: anonymous edits being frowned upon. It is always important to practice good faith when it comes to anonymous users. BK points it out really well.}}
