It is the first spell introduced in the series.

In ''Kingdom Hearts'', Fire is offensive magic that allows [[Sora]] to launch a fireball with slight homing properties at a single enemy. Due to its wide flight arc, it may be difficult to hit fast-moving targets at long range, but it can be fired in rapid succession if set as a shortcut command. Fire magic costs one unit from the Charge Gauge in all versions except the original Japanese release, where it costs half a unit, and its power is determined by the following equations:
