Agrabah is mostly the same as it was in the first game; however, there are two extras room, the and the , which are inside the Cave. Additionally, the is accessible, containing the .

A data version of Agrabah appears within the Datascape in Kingdom Hearts coded, and is based off its appearance from Kingdom Hearts. The first area is the Plaza which connect to the Main Street. From there Data-Sora can chose between several gateways. Heading west leads to the Alley where a fight against Jafar occur, while entering the high entrance to the east goes into the Bazaar.  Continuing north takes him to the Palace Gates. All of these areas interconnect on several levels, both high and low. After Jafar's cast a powerful spell on Agrabah, all areas of the city will turn green, with characters and Heartless frozen in time.

Traveling to the Cave of Wonders Entrance leads to a new area within the cave, the . A long and twisty corridor, with similar aesthetics to the first game's Cave of Wonders. The next room is also a new one and is named , where there's great risk of falling down to lower sections of the area. At the end of the room is an elevator made of Bug Blox, which will take Data-Sora down to the Lamp Chamber.

Once Data-Sora find the he can access it, which takes him to the . The area is similar to the Core from the first game, though there's a square prism in the middle of the room with a square hole, where Genie Jafar resides. The lava is also patterned similar to the Bug Bloxes.

Across the world are a total of five System Sector Backdoors. The only one within the city can be found at the Palace Gates on a wall near the high platform in the northwest corner. At the Entrance there's one to west of the tiger head, and another one on a wall in a small square alcove, near the center of the Hall of Beginnings. The last two are found within the Gauntlet. One's inside one of the pits, while the final Backdoor is located on the L-shaped platform near the elevator.

Across the world are also all kinds of Bug Blox which can be traversed and interacted with.
