Synopsis
Chapter 2: Intruders is the second chapter in the Kingdom Hearts II manga.
Roxas finds himself surrounded by a Dusks, thinking them to be ghosts. Unable to fend them off himself, Roxas decides to retreat. The thieves joining themselves together to create a cage, successfully trapping the teenager. Then, a dark portal opens, with the enemies slowly heading towards it. Suddenly, the Struggle Bat changes into a different weapon, one that will actually allow Roxas to attack and directly damage.

Roxas defeats the thieves and manages to retrieve the stolen photos. However, the mysterious weapon disappears from his own hand. Roxas takes the photos back to his friends, where they put their most cherished one-the quartet at the beach-back into its frame. It turns out that the thieves have been stealing photos of Roxas from everywhere in town. Of course, Roxas could not explain much of the thieves, only that they were non-human.
Story
Roxas tries fighting the creatures, but can't hit them. Realizing he can't beat them, he decides to run away, but the creatures grab him. The creatures form a cage and slowly drag Roxas towards a Corridor of Darkness. Suddenly, Roxas's Struggle Bat changes into a Keyblade, causing the creatures to back off. The Keyblade moves on its own to hit one of the creatures. Seeing he can now hit them, Roxas defeats the creatures. As the last of the creatures disappears, a bunch of photos appear, and the Keyblade vanishes.

Soon, the bell rings; a sign that it is getting late. Olette demands that everyone work on their homework assignment the next day, which the boys reluctantly agree with. As they leave the Usual Spot, Roxas complains of the sunlight and faints.
Back in The Usual Spot, Olette places their stolen photo back in the frame, and the group realizes they can say the word "photo" again. Looking at the recovered photos, Pence notices that they all have Roxas in them. They bells at the clock tower sound, causing the group to realize the day is almost over. With only one week of summer vacation left, Olette tells the group they will do their homework the next day. The group separates and heads home, when Roxas suddenly collapses.

Elsewhere, a new voice comments that it is almost time. The man claims that the white creatures from before work for a group called Organization XIII. The man comments on the Organization's desperate actions, but says he will not let them win. This man, DiZ, then spots an Axel on the computer monitor, and promptly orders his "apprentice" to keep an eye on Roxas.
In a room with several monitors, DiZ and a man in a black coat discuss the attack of the creatures. DiZ reveals he scattered photos of Roxas around town, as they can't tell the difference between the real Roxas and a photo. DiZ tells the man in the black coat to keep an eye on Roxas. High on a rooftop, Axel keeps getting photos of Roxas from the creatures.

Meanwhile, Axel stands on a rooftop, surrounded by several Dusks and a different type of Nobody. Axel is annoyed that they are only bringing pictures of Roxas. He then burns the image of Roxas on a school bus, wondering where he is hiding.
Roxas once again dreams of the boy. In the dream, the boy obtains the same Keyblade Roxas used. With a jolt, Roxas wakes up in his own bed, wondering how he got home.

The unknown figure from before approaches an unconscious Roxas, saying only one word: "Sora". This triggers another dream, showing more scenes of the mysterious boy: an encounter with a robed man, and gaining the ability to use the Keyblade. Roxas wakes up, back in his own bedroom. He looks into his hand and wonders if the strange weapon he held yesterday was a Keyblade.
