{{LapisScarab|time=06:39, October 13, 2010 (UTC)|text=I can see why some people would be underwhelmed by this idea, people are also taking this ''way'' too seriously. This doesn't strike me as some grand conspiracy against the Mirage Arena. Like I said on the talk page, TKW is only going to last for a few months, while the MA will last much longer. There's no reason to uprise against something that is purely intended to be a fun surprise.
As for the staff alone being the ones to select it, again, I kind of get why (though I am not completely happy about it). It needed to be a surprise. KKD keeps brining up Namine's draw-off, but I don't remember the whole community decidiing on that. Wasn't that a surprise too? (Seriously, was it? I can't remember.)
<!--Lastly, is anyone else getting some abusively long lag lately? The edit window was like eight words behind what I typed. I know it's a big forum, but this is happening on a lot of smaller pages to me too.-->}}
