Agrabah is the first world visited by Xehanort, Eraqus and their fellow Keyblade wielders in their search for the upper classmen. During the initial visit, they notice the absence of residents, which Xehanort theorizes is because the World's "reboot" is still in its infancy, so the World is still devoid of life at present.

Later Xehanort returns with Urd and Hermod to find inhabitants have started to appear. They are met by Jafar, and his parrot Iago, who asks them to help him save Agrabah by retrieving a special lamp from a nearby cave. The Keyblade wielders agree and head to the Cave of Wonders, which grants them access but warns them not to touch anything but the lamp inside. Xehanort admits he doesn't fully trust Jafar, as he sensed greed in his heart, to which the others agree and decide not to give him the lamp, but still take the opportunity to explore parts of the world they were otherwise unable to before. However, Xehanort also admits his concern over the warning the Cave gave them before entering and wonders if Eraqus is there as well, with the others agreeing they should search for him. Journeying deeper into the cave they find Eraqus and Bragi and reiterate the warning about not touching anything. Eraqus admits he and Bragi were also ask to retrieve the Lamp for Jafar, and that they also had doubts about his true intentions. The Keyblade wielders all agree to they should find the lamp, with Urd expressing her belief it is the key to this World's order. Urd reveals the conversation she had with Vala in Beast's Castle, that every world has something that helps maintain its order and that the upper classmen are looking for such things. Xehanort also thinks that finding the Lamp will also lead them to the upper classmen and Vor. The Keyblade wielders journey to the deepest part of the cave where they find the lamp. Sure enough Vidar appears again with Vor in toe. Vidar explains that he wants the lamp in order to find the Seven Lights that are the key to summoning Kingdom Hearts, with the intention of using it to purge the Worlds of darkness. Vor has agreed to help him and the other upper classmen achieve their goal and Vidar asks if Eraqus shares the same goal. Vidar asks Eraqus to take the Lamp and use it to find the lights before leaving with Vor. Xeharnort asks Eraqus if disrupting the World's order is really worth defeating darkness, to which Eraqus replies he's not sure anymore and decides to leave the lamp alone. The Keyblade wielders agree to return to Scala Ad Caelum and tell Master Odin what they have discovered.
