As with the rest of the real Organization, Xigbar's data is significantly harder and stronger. Aside from his attacks from the base game, he now has several more tricks up his sleeve. Among these tricks, he brings back his blue arrows from ''Kingdom Hearts II'' and can once again create "new backdrops" in the form of a donut-shaped arena, making it harder to evade his shots. He can occasionally fire a spread of shots that leave mines on the ground that afterwards fire in a straight line on the ground in Sora's direction. For his ultimate attack, he creates a new backdrop in the form of a smaller arena before firing multiple unblockable blue shots. He will fire his shots in wildly different patterns before returning the battlefield to its normal state.

Blocking enough of Xigbar's normal shots will eventually prompt the "Showdown" Situation Command. When activated, Xigbar and Sora will have a standoff akin to Western films. When Xigbar moves, Sora has to quickly use Quick Shot to retaliate. Using this command at the right time will have Sora fire a shot that stuns Xigbar, deals plenty of damage, and leaves him wide open for attack; otherwise, using it too early or too late will have Xigbar shoot Sora for massive damage.
