::::::::Following the "assuming good faith" policy, I figured that might be the case when you posted that on the discussion page, though I do admit that I was debating on whether to give you a warning. However, before Ignis's tirade on my talk page, the worst that either of you two could have gotten was a scolding instead of block, simply because of how light the offense was originally. Ignis escalated the situation further by personally attacking you on my talk page before I even had a chance to mediate the situation. Personally, I agree that profanity shouldn't be used on page discussions, as it pretty much violates the common policy that all discussions on wikias must be kept civilized and using profanity opens the window for hostility to spring up later down the road. I've experienced and seen the same issue across many wikias. In any case, I've warned Byzantinefire already to be more mindful of his behavior already. Unlike Ignis, Byzantinefire makes a conscious attempt to watch his behavior after receiving warnings for previous misconducts.--{{User:NinjaSheik/Sig}} 17:51, 9 May 2017 (UTC)

If Ignis didn't post that tirade on my talk page, the worst that either of you two could have gotten was a scolding instead of block, simply because of how light the offense was originally. However, Ignis escalated the situation further by personally attacking you on my talk page before I even had a chance to mediate the situation and then start abusing multiple IP addresses simply to curse the two of us out. Personally, I agree that profanity shouldn't be used on page discussions, as it pretty much violates the common policy that all discussions on wikias must be kept civilized and using profanity opens the window for hostility to spring up later down the road. Unlike Ignis, Byzantinefire makes a conscious attempt to watch his behavior after receiving warnings for previous misconducts. If he does act out in the future, he will receive another warning.--{{User:NinjaSheik/Sig}} 17:51, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
