Gravity (グラビデ Gurabide?), Gravira (グラビラ Gurabira?), and Graviga (グラビガ Gurabiga?) magic are attacks used by Sora, Donald, and other characters and enemies that utilize the element of Darkness. Gravity appeared in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. It did not appear in Kingdom Hearts II; like Stop and Aero, the spell was replaced by Magnet and Reflect.

Uses

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

Gravity spells come in the form of Zero Gravity, Zero Gravira, and Zero Graviga in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. They release a dome of dark energy from the caster which causes any enemies hit by it to float helplessly in the air for a period of time. Enemies also take gradual damage while floating. The deck command Atmos Break also makes use of Gravity magic. Its causes surrounding enemies to bounce around the field.

Kingdom Hearts

Gravity creates a dark sphere to temporarily flatten all enemies in range and deal damage equal to a fraction of their current HP. The fraction varies depending on both the level of the spell and Sora's magic strength. Even if an enemy has 1 HP left, the spell will not kill them. All character bosses are resistant to Gravity, as are most enemies in the later stages of the game. In Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, all forms of Gravity can stun Unknown.
