Foreteller

Template:Enemy The Foretellers are Keyblade Masters that appears in Kingdom Hearts χ.

Each of the five Unions is led by a Foreteller. These enigmatic Keyblade wielders protect the worlds from the darkness.

Story

Before Kingdom Hearts χ

According to Chirithy, the five Foretellers (and one other Keyblade wielder) were the apprentices of his creator. They each received a tome from the Book of Prophecies and learned of the event that would doom the world. In an attempt to avert this crisis, the Foretellers established Unions to battle the Heartless.

Kingdom Hearts χ

Shortly after arriving in Daybreak Town, the Player is attacked by a Darkside. The Foreteller of their chosen Union comes to the rescue alongside Chirithy, and when the Darkside escapes in a corridor of darkness, the Foreteller pursues it.

After the player masters the power of the Keyblade with help from Chirithy and a Moogle, the Foreteller reappears and explains the need to defeat Heartless and collect the light. Before leaving once again, the Foreteller tells the player to be wary of those who hoard the light out of greed, for they are truly seekers of darkness.

Appearance

Each Foreteller wears a mask representing the animal that serves as the emblem of his or her Union. Underneath is a hooded, embroidered cloak from which tassels hang around the front. The Foretellers wear shirts beneath their robes that are fastened by a sash and feature long, embroidered sleeves that extend slightly beyond their wrists. Each is named after the Latin name for one of the seven deadly sins, with most of them using the name that matches their animal motif according to the Ancrene Wisse.

Foreteller Invi (予知者インヴィ, Yochisha Invi), leader of the Anguis Union, is a young woman who wears a blue snake mask and a light blue cloak over a darker blue shirt, robe, and sash. These all feature gold embroidering. She wields Foreteller Invi's Keyblade. Her name is derived from "invidia", the Latin word for the deadly sin of Envy, which is symbolized by a serpent in the Ancrene Wisse.

Foreteller Gula (予知者グウラ, Yochisha Guura), leader of the Leopardos Union, is a boy who wears a white leopard mask and a yellowish-tan robe, shirt, and sash. These all feature dark grey embroidering. Foreteller Gula's tassels are light blue in coloration. He wields Foreteller Gula's Keyblade. His name is derived from "gula", the Latin word for the deadly sin of Gluttony.

Foreteller Ira (予知者イラ, Yochisha Ira), leader of the Unicornis Union, is a young man who wears a white and gold unicorn mask, as well as a light blue robe, shirt, and sash. These all feature gold embroidering. Foreteller Ira's tassels are purple in coloration. He wields Foreteller Ira's Keyblade. His name is derived from "ira", the Latin word for the deadly sin of Wrath, which is symbolized by a unicorn in the Ancrene Wisse.

Foreteller Aced (予知者アゼット, Yochisha Azetto), leader of the Ursus Union, is a muscular young man with dark skin who wears a dark grey bear mask and a tan cloak with golden tassels and black embroidering. His shirt, sash, and robe are light brown in coloration. He wields Foreteller Aced's Keyblade.His name is derived from "acedia", the Latin word for the deadly sin of Sloth, which is symbolized by a bear in the Ancrene Wisse.

Foreteller Ava (予知者アヴァ, Yochisha Ava), leader of the Vulpes Union, is a girl who wears a white and blue fox mask, as well as a pink cloak with light green tassels. Her shirt and sash are dark grey with gold embroidering, and her robe is white. She wields Foreteller Ava's Keyblade. Her name is derived from "avaritia", the Latin word for the deadly sin of Greed, which is symbolized by a fox in the Ancrene Wisse.
