I belive it was pulled from English Stratagy Guides that were released before the game itself. Unless the guides are wrong (which happens sometimes) it should be the Offical name

Serendipitous Pair/Two/Duo
Given that the most literal translation is "The Two which Fortuitously Come Together", I think "Two Become One" is actually a really good translation - or if it's considered to not be a synonym, I'd like to suggest "Two Come Together" for the closest and most accurate translation. Is that okay?<small>Glorious</small> <small>CHAOS!</small> 01:12, September 29, 2009 (UTC)
:Agreed, not even fortuitously is an appropriate synonym for serendipitous. I think that we'll just need Urutapu or SSC to give us the best Japanese-speaker's input. --<span style="color:navy ;">Door</span><span style="color:dimgray ;">To</span><span style="color:darkslategray ;">Nothing</span> 01:15, September 29, 2009 (UTC)
::I'd say "Two Coming Together" (Meguriau Futari is a noun phrase, not a verb one).—Urutapu 01:32, September 29, 2009 (UTC)

Agreed.

Alternate namez?
I thought it was two-across, is it different in kh2fm and fm+? Just wonderin'
-Later Kupo
"Two Across" was a comppletely incorrect, if cool-sounding translation. A more accurate name is "Serendipitous Duo", which we had until the Enligh version od Days was released, which gave the official English name as "Two Become One".18:08, June 14, 2010 (UTC)
Kewlness, thanx Kupo!
