The Sorcerer is a high-ranking Nobody controlled by Xemnas that was introduced in Kingdom Hearts II.

The Sorcerer is an enemy in Kingdom Hearts II who appears in The World That Never Was. It is considered the strongest of the lesser Nobodies because of their strong magical fields that they can project and the fact they are resistant to magic. It is controlled by Xemnas, using blocks of energy in various ways, such as a shield, much like Xemnas did in Sora's battles with him at Memory's Skyscraper and Hollow Bastion.
Design
A Sorcerer Nobody is mostly light grey, save for a small area on either side of its waist, which is a darker color, and some black markings. It appears to wear a long robe that covers almost every part of its body, including its face. The Nobody's hands are seemingly permanently connected by the sleeves of the robe, and its individual arms are only distinguishable by the black seam of the sleeves. The Sorcerer's head sports a black cross pattern that wraps around the back of its head, and its shoulders are pointed. The lower half of the robe is mostly featureless, except for a few stray black markings and a white Nobody emblem at the bottom. Sorcerer Nobodies share the level of flexibility all lesser Nobodies have, and they constantly pulsate.

Journal Entries
The Sorcerer is based on the Sorcerer (Tactics) from Final Fantasy.

Strategy
A sorcerer. A high-ranking Nobody. Immune to magic, it attacks with invulnerable cubes.
The Sorcerer uses magic cubes which hinder melee attacks, and it lacks a Reaction Command. The battle can be shortened by using Reflect at the right moment to inflict significant damage. A well-timed Reflect can destroy a Sorcerer in a single blow. It also has an attack during which it clubs Sora with its cubes, use Reflect.

Watch out for the cubes while attacking the main body. The cubes disappear when the body is defeated.
Another strategy makes use of the fact that Sorcerers are immune to most forms of magic with the exception of Magnet. Use the Magnet spell to stun it, and attack quickly. Beware of its magic cubes, if doing this.

Appearances
Also, one can avoid the cubes with a well-timed attack. In addition, when the Sorcerer appears, it usually does so without cubes. Take that opportunity to attack. If timed right, the Sorcerer will be defeated before or as the cubes arrive.

Anatomy
One other strategy that works well is to change into Final Form (if it has been acquired). If Sora is in Final Form before fighting a Sorcerer, then he can attack with extremely quick aerial combos. It will be defeated before its cubes arrive.

The Sorcerer has a strange anatomy; its body constantly pulsates (ironic to the fact that it has no heart) while its body (robe) flaps. It appears to wear a robe, much like one that its namesake would wear, and it has the Organization's emblem on the front of its robe. Instead of having distinct facial features, it has zippers forming a cross around its head. With the white robe and the zipped up sleeves, the Sorcerer looks like it is in a strait jacket. It also resembles, in posture, Xehanort's Heartless during the one-on-one battles with him in Kingdom Hearts.
Oddly, it is the only Nobody that does not move from its posture when fighting. It always holds the pulsating appearance (even when attacked, the Sorcerer will still hold its posture aside from blows).

Strategy
Kingdom Hearts III
The Sorcerer uses magic cubes which hinder melee attacks, and it lacks a reaction command. The battle can be shortened by using Reflect at the right moment to inflict significant damage. A well-timed Reflect can destroy a Sorcerer in a single blow. It also has an attack during which it clubs you with its cubes. Use Reflect.
In Kingdom Hearts III, Sorcerers appear exclusively in Battlegate 3 and when trying to defeat the pink Shadow in Scala ad Caelum. In both cases, they will spawn after a certain amount of enemies have been defeated, or if a certain amount of damage has been done to the pink Shadow. In either case, they summon their cubes much more quickly, and are still immune to all elements, rendering all magic and some Formchanges ineffective. However, physical or Neutral attacks(including neutral Magic attacks) will deal full damage.

Another very good strategy makes use of the fact that Sorcerers are immune to most forms of magic with the exception of Magnet. Use the Magnet spell to stun it, and attack quickly. But if you use this, then beware of its magic cubes.
It is hard to attack a Sorcerer when it is swinging its cubes around, as they deal heavy damage and hit a wide area. If defending against Wild Dance or Chaos Shot, stand back and block the cubes when they appear. If it is using Chaos Shield, either back off, or close in and repeatedly block and use Reprisals to deal decent damage.

Also, one can avoid the cubes with a well-timed attack. In addition, when the Sorcerer appears, it usually does so without cubes. Take that opportunity to attack! If timed right the Sorcerer will be downed before or as the cubes arrive.
In order to combo a Sorcerer, wait for pauses between its attacks and close the distance with Airstep. However, be wary of Chaos Shield, which it may use if you're close and it's not vulnerable. It's much easier to attack a Sorcerer if it targets Donald or Goofy.
