Light: Difference between revisions

In [http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Chain_of_Memories Chain of Memories], Light does not play as much of a role, since the main enemy is [http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Organization Organization XIII], not darkness, as it is in most of the [http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Kingdom_Hearts_series Kingdom Hearts series]. The most major story development about light in the story is Riku's constant struggle throughout the game, with him against the darkness in his heart. He tries to shun the darkness and [http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Xehanort%27s_Heartless Xehanort's Heartless] out of him, but he cannot do it, with [http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Xehanort%27s_Heartless "Ansem"] taunting him that darkness is his destiny. [http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Riku Riku] finally finds a revelation in himself when he talks with Mickey after being "blinded" by [http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Zexion Zexion], who is being disguised as Sora. Riku finds that darkness is not bad, and he should use it along with light to help defeat his enemies, and give him more power. This changes Riku, and "Ansem", thinking that Riku has turned to the darkness, mockingly tells him that he was right about Riku's destiny. Riku fights "Ansem" and destroys him, but he is still in Riku's body, after Riku declines [http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Namine Namine's] offer to seal "Ansem" away in Riku's heart along with his memories of the castle. Then, at the end of the story, Riku says, after being asked by [http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/DiZ DiZ], that he is taking the [http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Way_to_the_Dawn Way to the Dawn], or going from darkness to light. This also gives him his [http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Keyblade Keyblade] with it's respective name.
