{{KeybladeSpyMaster|time=00:12, 8 June 2017 (UTC)|text=So, I know what you're thinking. Here's this fool again, back just two weeks and already on the whole OCK thing again. Sorry. I realize I probably don't have the credibility to be suggesting this idea (again...), but it's been on my mind for several months and I figured I'd throw it out there. I realized within the first five months that Operation: Keychain launched (my last five months on the Wiki) that it wasn't going anywhere fast. It quickly fell from an exciting undertaking to a complicated and overwhelming task list. So, in an effort to better organize the wiki's efforts and set goals for us, I present OPERATION: KEYCHAIN - VOLUME 2 -!

The idea is that we establish goals as a wiki with the intent of meeting our purpose, which is to be the most comprehensive and professional Kingdom Hearts encyclopedia on the internet. Included in the document (and on the page) is an idea of some goals and plans, but that part is entirely up to the wiki to decide what to keep and what to throw out or add. Much of the plans are semi-easy to enact within a couple days, so maybe part of what could be done to make it better is to make assignments of who should do what. So what do you think? Opinions, questions, concerns, maladies of the mind?

#Finishing the Game: articles for every boss and world, and getting boss strategies up to new standard (see Game:Sephiroth or Game:Eraqus). This means trawling the Ultimania and KH2 Bradygames guide for attack descriptions and stats, sorting basic strategies by which enemy command they're reacting to, and also getting complete item/enemy lists done up for KH 0.2, KH3DHD.

:I have no real opinion on the social media/PR stuff. My own focus always has and will be on the wiki simply having the information, whether anybody reads it or no. 15:06, 8 June 2017 (UTC)

{{KeybladeSpyMaster|time=21:59, 12 June 2017 (UTC)|text=The main idea here is to get more people on the site not just to read it, but to help in contributing to the wiki. The reality is that none of us will be here forever, as is evident with the many of our fellow Keyblade-wielding editors going inactive or retiring. I myself don't plan to be here for very long, looking to the future, but the games and the wiki will continue. We need more help, more people contributing productively. We need to not only get more people reading, but editing according to our standards and policies. So yeah, we need to get those things you mentioned done, KrytenKoro (especially Kingdom Hearts χ; having been gone from both the wiki and the Kingdom Hearts Universe for two years, I'm having a hard time understanding the story and difference between Kingdom Hearts χ, Unchained χ, χ Back Story, and Union χ), but we also need to figure out how to get the many people who know all the information for these games on this site to help add them here. Those are my thoughts. Where are we at with the information for Project World? And what do we need from the Bradygames guide for KH2? I have that one, but I don't know what I'd be looking for as far as stats.
Another thought: since I see this as an effort to get the site ready for when Kingdom Hearts III comes out, something good to consider is our current spoiler policy and our policy on information from released trailers. As is evident from the last two days, we seem to be a little unclear on what from trailers can be considered official and canon. For example, all the KH3 icon tags have been taken down from all the pages of items/characters shown in the new Orchestra Trailer, but other references to these characters in Kingdom Hearts III remain (such as in the KH3 nav template and on the Kingdom Hearts III page). It would be good to clarify these and post it somewhere visible on the site, especially with the July 15 information dump we're gong to get at D23.}}
:Trailers are not and have never been accepted as canon, and if anyone has been adding them those contributions should be burned. Trailers may only be discussed on the KH3 article itself, as trailers. 22:03, 12 June 2017 (UTC)
::I honestly feel we need to take a little less of an arbitrary approach to this. Although here's been plenty in trailers that turned out not to make it into the final game, there's also plenty in trailers that ultimately is canon. We would look just as unprofessional to pretend arbitrarily deny all trailer content as non-canon as we do if we arbitrarily assume all in trailers are canon. For example, it's pretty clear from the most recent trailer, in addition to scenes from Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded that Pete and Maleficent are set to return in Kingdom Hearts III. It'd be really dumb also to claim that it's not official that Olympus Coliseum and Hercules are set to appear as well. Hades, I wouldn't jump to consider that official yet, since he's only appeared in one trailer. There should be a balance on the matter. In all honesty, the world doesn't end if we have to remove content once in a while that doesn't make it in the final game, if there's had been justifiable reason to believe that it would have been. I'm sure we do so even with the current policy. 00:02, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
