I'm confused. Why do Master Xehanort, Braig/Xigbar, Saïx, & Vanitas all have amber-gold eyes and pointed ears, as opposed to how Ansem the Wise, Xehanort's Heartless/"Ansem, the Seeker of Darkness", & Xemnas all have amber-orange eyes? All I know is that it is all connected to darkness somehow. And why doesn't Riku have amber eyes, considering how he accepted his darkness and even pushed its limits?

:I'm guessing it's because he didn't reject the light as well, which is why his ares are glow-in-the-dark blue.Glorious CHAOS! 22:53, May 6, 2010 (UTC)

:Actually, the only reason Riku doesn't have the yellowish eyes is because he was cleansed of the Darkness when the Kingdom Hearts Encoder blew up. --Evnyofdeath 23:17, May 6, 2010 (UTC)

::But that doesn't make sense. Riku opened his heart to darkness before KH2 EDIT:and if Master Xehanort made Terra's eyes go amber in a short time span, why can't Xehanort do the same to Riku?. I always thought that the longer you stay in the darkness, your eyes become more amber, but that doesn't make sense seeing as how Xaldin is one of the older members of OXII but has blue eyes. =O 23:27, May 6, 2010 (UTC)

Perhaps the whole yellow eye trait was not yet thought of at the time for Riku. It is possibly because the hue of yellow dictates how deep a person has embellished himself in darkness or how strong they are with it. Braig/Xigbar and Saix have yellow eyes because they have embraced the darkness completely and allowed it to take them over for more power. Vanitas being made out of pure evil speaks for itself. Ansem wields the darkness but he has not allowed it to take him over. As for Xehanort's Heartless, that's certainly a thought-provoker given his hammy speeches. Xemnas probably has something to do with being Terra's body subconsciously influenced by Xehanort. Kaihedgie 00:28, May 7, 2010 (UTC)
Commenting on what Evnyofdeath said, I actually don't think Riku himself ever had amber-orange eyes; he only had those eyes when he took upon himself the form of Xehanort's Heartless by fully accepting his darkness - where Xehanort's Heartless was residing - gaining full control over him & his appearance(which he seemed to have some control over in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days when he met with King Mickey).
And then, yes, he was cleansed of Xehanort's Heartless and Xehanort's darkness (which I think was multipied to an immense amount when he chose to take over Terra's darkness-tainted heart & body).
I always thought that Riku never got eyes because he retained it with that band on his face as Mickey said his eyes can't lie,so i think that he was talking about Riku's true darkness.--Xabryn 00:50, May 11, 2010 (UTC)
Well, the only reason he wore the headband(Other than to maybe, make a reference to Solid Snake in the Metal Gear Series) was that his eyes couldn't lie, and I guess by doing this, he kept his eye color.--Pkthis 12:55, May 15, 2010 (UTC)
I actually noticed something. Watch the scene at the end of Terra's scenario in BBS when Master Xehanort possesses him. MX has orangish eyes, however Xehanort has yellow eyes. I'm guessing the color your eyes takes depends on how deep you've sunk into the Darkness, however if that were true then Xigbar would have orange eyes, however his are yellow. In addition, if Xehanort had yellow eyes, then why do his Heartless and Nobody have Orange eyes? --Evnyofdeath 22:54, May 28, 2010 (UTC)
Hold on hold on hold on. D: I just noticed something that I should have a long time ago. When Xehanort is first born, he has yellow eyes, but after his loss against Aqua and becoming one of Ansem's apprentices, his eyes turn a brown color D: Kaihedgie 23:16, May 28, 2010 (UTC)
:Thats probaly just the light of the changing eye color. --Auror. plus the great Andrachome 23:21, May 28, 2010 (UTC)
