-In Agrabah, Aladdin is captured by Jafar and the Heartless. Jasmine pleads with Jafar to spare him. Jafar agrees, only if Aladdin brings to him the magic lamp from the Cave of Wonders.

Just like their friends in Traverse Town, Aladdin does not remember Sora or the others. Sora lies to Aladdin, claiming this is their first time meeting each other. Aladdin tells Sora he has not seen either of Sora's friends, but will help him upon delivering the lamp. Aladdin rubs the dust covered lamp, inadvertently summoning the Genie of the lamp. While Genie explains the rules attached to his master's three wishes, Iago watches the group from above. Iago returns to Jafar, explaining how Aladdin knows the lamp's secret and the new arrivals. Jafar reveals a captured Jasmine, intending to use her as bait to obtain the lamp.
