The shields deflect nearly all frontal attacks, so that magic is the sole effective method to attack from the front. When using physical attacks or commands, it is simplest to attack either from behind, or after the Buckle Bruiser has lunged and is lying on the ground. When attacking from behind, the Buckle Bruiser may try to counter with Shield Dive, so attack slowly and try to anticipate the attack.
