Nomura : I thought a lot about whether Sora was to become Keyblade Master or not. But because I always wanted Sora to relate to the players, if he became Master, it would have meant he would have really reached a very high level and it is not yet ready for it, and we do not want that to happen. The decision to not make Sora a Keyblade Master was not really difficult, but I thought it was better that he remains an ordinary boy to be closer to the players.}}

==Symbol==
{{ST|text=What evidence is there that the symbol warn by Eraqus, Terra, Aqua, and Ventus is the Keyblade Master symbol? Xehanort, Mickey, and Yen Sid are not seen wearing it, Terra and Ventus wear it besides not being Masters, and Aqua wore it before becoming a Master. If anything, I would see it as Being Eraqus's symbol, seeing as only he and his pupils are seen wearing it, it is the token on his Keyblade's Keychain, and Ventus didn't wear it until becoming his apprentice.}}
