The user page exists for editors to freely express themselves. It is not a direct representation of the wiki as a whole. If someone wants to use curse words, they can. Why? Because unlike the IRC, there is not profanity filter here, and because it's not in the articles, it's on the users' respective userpage. Also, I'm pretty sure that no one wants to prove you wrong on the ''possible'' wikipedia-wikia connection because I think that everybody here knows there is a ''definite'' wikipedia-wikia connection. Wikia was founded by wikipedia founder Jimbo Wales and uses the same style on most of it's wikis.
