It creates a wind barrier around the target that halves any damage taken while it is active; however, if the casting animation is interrupted by an enemy attack, the damage from that hit will not be reduced. Aero magic costs 2 [[MP]] to use.

The duration of the barrier is determined by the following formula:

While it normally offers protection against attacks regardless of deflection capabilities or not, one exception is against the [[Ice Titan]]. Whenever any form of Aero is active, its icicle projectiles increase in size while also not having the damage mitigated (which is thus one instance of the spell working against the user's favor).
