Although the Union leaders work together to defeat Darkness, it ends with Ventus losing consciousness, and Lauriam remains by his side while questioning what they should do if Darkness wasn't really gone, but rather, had become a part of Ventus. Strelitzia comes to her brother's aid, telling Lauriam that giving in to these negative emotions is just what Darkness wants, imploring him to let it go and asking what had become of her kind and loving brother. Shocked, Lauriam pivots, but when he turns around, Strelitzia is no where to be found. It is then that Ephemer enters Ventus' room to tell Lauriam that Elrena had come to see him.
