Demyx appears once again serving the Organization. His role is very much like it was before, as he is not doing much of anything, complaining that he "got benched." Demyx is seen in a few cut-scenes with the other organization members, such was when Xemnas reveals to Luxord, Marluxia, Larxene, and him that they were a part of the "ancient Keyblade legacy." Later, Vexen conspires with Demyx to help him atone for his wrongdoings in "the old life." At first, Demyx is reluctant after complaining that they never hung out or knew each other in the old life.
