Limit Form is gained after the second visit to Twilight Town. In this form, Sora's Magic commands are replaced with "Limit" commands, whereby special abilities from Kingdom Hearts can be accessed for a set MP cost. Limit Form gains one experience point for every successful use of Sora's limit. Limit Form is also the only form that lets Sora use the Guard and Dodge Roll abilities.

As with Valor Form, Limit Form disables the use of magic, preventing the user from using Cure. However, each hit from a Limit recovers some HP, even if it misses, making Limits an effective way to recover HP above 1 in a tight situation.

Most Limit attacks do not have invincibility frames as they did in Kingdom Hearts, with the exception of Sonic Blade. This form secretly has the ability to jump just a bit higher than normal form, however, once High Jump LV2 is obtained, it won't matter muchfact

Overall, Limit Form is a more simplistic Drive Form compared to the others, in that Sora retains much of his normal movement and basic combo attacks, only with new finishers and limits available. Despite the basic nature of his normal combo attacks due to only a select amount of them are shared with Sora's normal form, this is compensated for Limit Form's more powerful one-shot finishing blows, especially the Zantetsuken. The limits available during the form also provide some versatility.

Due to the fact that only one growth ability for movement is available for this form however, Limit Form is also notably the least mobile compared to Sora with all growth abilities maxed out or his other forms' methods of movement commands.
