====''Kingdom Hearts III''====
As a party member in ''Kingdom Hearts III'', Roxas appears as a Dual-Wielder with mobile strength and speed. Roxas begins the fight by activating a shield to prevent him from getting damaged; once activated, he rises into the air, similar to how he uses his Keyblade Release attack during his boss fight in ''Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix''. During the battle, he can often be seen using his Continuous Swing attack from his boss fight in ''Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix'', with an extra two abilities that allow him to turn into a light ray and then deal a large amount of damage upon meeting his target. Another attack consists of him raising his Keyblades in front of him to form a spiral that launches a beam at his target.

Roxas is only playable during the Saïx (who first battles along with Xemnas) boss fight for the Re: Mind scenario. Roxas has most of his moves from ''Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix'' and a few newer abilities to light his way to victory. This version of Roxas appears to be more agile and brutal in terms of combat than his previous depictions. However, unlike his ally form, Roxas cannot activate a light shield to prevent himself from getting damaged.

This version of Roxas appears to be more agile and brutal in terms of combat than his previous depictions. However, unlike his ally form, Roxas cannot activate a light shield to prevent himself from getting damaged. He can still use Guard, Aerial Recovery, and Scan.

Retaining the abilities ''Guard'', ''Aerial Recovery'' and ''Scan'', Roxas' standard ground-attack consists of him performing his ''Continuous Swing'' move, which can inflict heavy damage on his target. Roxas can turn himself into a ray of light and quickly launch himself straight at the target, inflicting a large slash mark upon contact. Roxas' aerial combo is mostly the same as his playable appearance from ''Kingdom Hearts II'' as DW Roxas. He even uses a form of ''Quick Run'', which allows him to dash forward similar to his boss form's dashing movements, leaving behind a trail of light as well.

Roxas can turn himself into a ray of light and quickly launch himself straight at the target, creating a large slash mark upon contact. Roxas' aerial combo consists of him spinning vertically at his target, similar to his boss form. He even uses a form of ''Quick Run'', which allows him to dash forward and leaving behind a trail of light as well. One of his new moves is his ''Dual Shot'' reaction command, which allows him to twirl his Keyblades in a circular motion, shooting a ball of light and darkness that homes on his target.

If Roxas approaches his target up close, he will be able to activate the ''Reversal'' Reaction Command, allowing to slide behind his foes. If attacking once the ''Reversal'' command if finished, Roxas can pull off his devastating dual-wielding ''Whirlwind Swing'', unleashing a whirlwind of light and darkness. This move can cause a huge chunk of damage. Roxas also has access to Magic Commands ''Curaga'' and ''Waterga'', with few High Potions in that slot.

His team attack ''Thinking of You'', involves Lea starting off the attack by trapping the target in a flame cage. Once this happens, Roxas and Xion can constantly slash the target as Lea bombards the foe with his Charkrams. If the finisher command occurs, Roxas will then rush forward with Xion and swiftly Duel Attack the target on opposite sides, ending with Lea slamming his Chakrams on the floor to create a huge explosion.

During the boss fight with the Xehanort Replicas, Roxas and the rest of the Guardians of Light (excluding Sora and Kairi) are playable. For a few segments, Roxas can attack by slashing the Xehanort Replicas while also Air Dodging their vicious strikes. One of the special commands involves him, Xion, and Ventus using a team attack on one of the Replicas. After Xion and Ventus knock back one of Replicas, Roxas will activate his ''Miracle Hour'' Limit Break. Once the triangle button is pressed, Roxas releases multiple rays of light at the Xehanort Replica. Overall, Roxas is a versatile fighter when it comes to close-range combat against enemies and bosses.
