In order to conduct an experiment on the growth of hearts, Young Xehanort takes several of Andy's toys and traps them in an alternate version of their world called the [[Toy Box]]. During the final battle in the Keyblade Graveyard, Xehanort's younger self was defeated and returned to his proper place in time. Xehanort's present self used Kairi to enrage Sora into forcing the theriteenth final clash between Light and Darkness, allowing Xehanort to create the χ-Blade. Upon his defeat by Sora, Xehanort still attempted to make another stance, but Eraqus's spirit, which resided in Terra, made himself known and convinced Xehanort to finally give up his quest. Deciding he had finally lost, Xehanort gracefully gave Sora the χ-Blade, and departed with Eraqus to the afterlife as friends. | |||
