It's a sign of apprenticeship to Master Xehanort summoned by using darkness. Just like the knight armor is a sign of apprenticeship to Master Eraqus. The third keyblade master in the group is Yensid and even he had an apprentice outfit given out, that apprentice outfit is the red robes his apprentice Mickey wore. As Mickey said in BBS he's no longer an apprentice of Yensid, which is why he's not in his apprentice outfit but his D-Link does show him in his apprentice outfit. | |||
As for How Riku was an apprentice to Master Xehanort it's because Riku was the apprentice of AnsemSoD. AnsemSoD is the reason Riku was so gung ho' on darkness by the time of KH1 and had been speaking to him most likely as long as Kairi has been there. He is the one that had Riku destroy the islands and he is the one that sent Riku to Maleficent so she could awaken his sleeping darkness and weaken his heart faster. Master Xehanort did the same type of thing but he tricked Terra into going to Maleficent but Terra ended up refusing Maleficent's offer even though she had awoken some of Terra's sleeping darkness. The armor isn't related to Master Eraqus but to keyblade masters MX used it he mention it in Xehanort Reports, <spoiler> Vanitas was created with the ourfit <spoiler> I don't think that it was something MX did, and the red robe that Mickey use is something from the movie the same movie where YenSid appear they not related to apprentices or Kairi would use some kind of outfit too--[[User:Xabryn|Xabryn]] 19:10, August 26, 2010 (UTC) | |||
