Composition
The track incorporates elements of "Destati", while the original elements introduced in "Replicas" are built upon in "Critical Crossroad" and "Dark Domination".
Like many of Ishimoto's compositions, "Replicas" was altered between the in-game version and the original soundtrack album. The balance of the song was adjusted, bringing out the violin melody. The in-game version does not loop properly; the abrupt transition was smoothed over in the album version.
