After the battle, the events play out like in the film, with Frollo revealing to Quasimodo that he killed his mother. Frollo then falls off the church, while Phoebus saves Quasimodo from the same fate. Esmeralda and Phoebus then become a couple, and Quasimodo blesses them. Sora encounters YMX and Vanitas inside Notre Dame, who tell him that he's harboring hearts [[Ventus|other than his own]], before leaving. Sora then seals a keyhole, ending his story. | After the battle, the events play out like in the film, with Frollo revealing to Quasimodo that he killed his mother. La Cité des Cloches (Fra: "The City of Bells") is a world that is featured in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. It is based on the Disney film, The Hunchback of Notre Dame. The world previously appeared, unnamed, in the non-canon comic El Cetro y el Reino. La Cité des Cloches is set in Paris, and is one of the worlds submerged in sleep that must be awakened.
Locations
The world's playable areas include inside and outside Notre Dame cathedral itself, the streets of Paris, the Court of Miracles, the bridge leading to the River Seine and the Miller's land.
Story
Between Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts
Sometime after Terra-Xehanort's descent into darkness, his heartless, Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, attacked many worlds, including La Cité des Cloches, and swallowed them into the darkness. Though it was restored after Sora defeated Ansem and destroyed the End of the World, La Cité des Cloches remained in a state of deep sleep instead of returning to the Realm of Light, plagued by Nightmare Dream Eaters.
