 Upon hearing that [[Ansem, Seeker of Darkness]] went to search for his former master, [[Ansem the Wise]], Vexen follows them to [[Twilight Town]]. He uses [[Dusk]]s to save [[Hayner]], [[Pence]], and [[Olette]] from Ansem’s wrath. Finding them in the underground tunnel, Vexen appears before his former master and bows in respect, telling him that he became a Nobody again to make amends and thwart Xehanort’s plans from within his group.
