GIF Images

The images you are uploading are greatly appreciated. However, please make sure they still are animated once placed in the article itself. It could just be my browser, but the Re:CoM Dark Aura image is only animated when I click on it and view its file page, on which it is very slow... - Eternal Nothingness XIII 21:56, 25 January 2013 (UTC)

Tested Gale of Severance (largest size-hog) at 10fps instead. Better? It should work with the rest, although it sucks that I have to redo Zantetsuken/Sliding Dash and the like (for consistency). Ultima Spark (talk) 22:39, 25 January 2013 (UTC)

Yeah, I understand where you're coming from. This just boils down to the fact that having a .gif image is irrelevant if it doesn't appear animated on the page for which it was made. I would advise you just double-check the images you upload...If they're slow-moving/not animated in an article, please make any necessary changes. - Eternal Nothingness XIII 23:00, 25 January 2013 (UTC)

Tricky gifs request

Sup. You're doing a good job with your gifs, so I have a request for you. I would like to see if you can get gifs for some of the action abilities listed here. Many of them are incorporated into normal attack combos, so they might be a bit tricky to isolate (and Dodge Slash is a unique combo in itself). Dark Barrage gif

Thanks for bringing another load of great gifs here Ultima Spark, they're excellent. Could you help me with making another Dark Barrage animation where the swords Riku summons can be seen? I created a video and tried to make a gif out of it but after optimizing it to get a smaller file size it just gets annoyingly slow, setting a manual framerate didn't help, I think I don't have the right tools. Re:Manga/novel images

We're always open for some quality manga images! Thanks for the offer! I don't know too much about the novels/novel articles...Neumannz/someone else might be the better option to ask on what we need for them. Do the novels have cover images like the manga? If so, those would probably be worth uploading...

For the manga articles, here is a rough list of what we're looking for:

• Front Covers (KH), Chapters: 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 41, 42
• Back Covers (KH), Chapters: 7, 17, 21, 25, 26, 28, 42
• Front Covers (COM), Chapters: 2, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 (we have a version, but it is low quality), 13 (see previous reason)
• Front Covers (KHII), Chapters: 1, 2, 3, 6, 14-37
• Front Covers (Days), Chapters: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 16

Notice, for the Days and KHII manga, more cover images will become needed as the volumes are released. For the time being, the list above shows what is needed. The cover images are the big thing right now. Getting these images in will finish up a lot of the individual chapter articles. Also, character images are always needed. If you browse the manga image category you'll find a few character images around. A rough example of what we need: For Sora: version from KH, COM (if noticable difference from KH version), and KHII.

Ultimania Request

You seem to have the Kingdom Hearts Series Memorial Ultimania. If you do, could you please check the section on the True Organization XIII on Page 9 for me, please? The current translations on the internet of that page seem to contradict what you brought up regarding Isa in Organization XIII. KeybladeSpyMaster 19:48, 13 October 2014 (UTC)

That wasn't mine, it was from a Tumblr user. My copy's still in transit (shipping issues and all that, maybe another week or so), I can get raw scans of other stuff once it arrives. That said, this scan of the page from KH Insider calls him Saix. But the thing is that the "Xehanort Experience Record" calls him Isa in Japanese (“真のXIII機関”の一員として、アイザを回収。), hence my message in the first place... Oh, well, I hope your copy arrives soon, I hear it's good stuff. I figured that the Page 9 scans were posted later; I mean, the translation of Page 9 was posted just yesterday, as far as I know. But since they contradicted, I thought maybe you'd have the Ultimania to double check the translation (in the past, fansites like KHInsider and KH13, where I saw the translation, have been wrong sometimes). I guess, the only way both pages can be right is if both Isa and Saïx are in the True Organization XIII.... KeybladeSpyMaster 21:25, 13 October 2014 (UTC)

From what I can tell, they're the same. Attacks used by Spirits depend on level and disposition, attacks used by Nightmares depend on a given tactical situation (and probably level, I'm not certain). Days Manga Request

I have a couple requests, if you don't mind. These are completely optional- do not feel compelled to do either unless you want. Anyways...We'd really appreciate it if you could help us out with two things on the Days manga articles. The first is double checking the titles on this page. I believe volumes one thru three are okay. However, if you could double check four that would be great. Second, the infoboxes for each volume for Days should match the content shown in the infobox for Kingdom Hearts Volume 1. If you could help us out on this, I'd really appreciate it. Secret Reports edit

Hey, so I just merged an anon edit to the Secret Reports page, and only afterwards saw your edit and comment. I did finish the game, and based on that, the edit I merged makes sense. However, I personally have not unlocked all the Secret Reports yet or the Secret video, so if you feel that the edit I merged is incorrect/inconsistent with other scenes, feel free to revert it. Ultimania scans

Hey, Ultima Spark, quick question of curiosity. How exactly do you go about scanning the Ultimanias? I mean, those are huge, can't imagine they're easy to scan, right? KeybladeSpyMaster 23:03, 23 June 2019 (UTC)

Bend the pages as far as I dare to without ripping them out (the book spines are kinda stuffed afterward, but no matter tbh), use my iPad to make sure they stay flat during the actual scanning (this may take several tries for a page if the initial scan isn't satisfactory), then do alignment/clean-up in Photoshop. Remind enemy stats

Calculated with the standard method. Re Mind Scala is still L50, you can check by comparing enemy EXP yields (here's a video that does it on either Standard or Proud, EXP gains fall in line with expected calculations for each type of enemy). This is also how I figured out HP modifiers for Sorcerers (×5) and Berserkers (×8). I haven't yet checked my copy for any potential "missing" encounters. There's speculative data on bosses here and here, which I haven't entered for that reason. Is it possible for you to ask around for someone who could datamine Data Org. and Yozora levels and stats? The pink aura glowy one? It seems to be treated as a boss-type enemy, so I counted the number of gauges instead; Scala Darkside, by this method, has 2400 HP. (IIRC the only boss-type enemy that breaks the "flat number for HP" pattern is Catastrochorus, who's treated as if it had a ×24 modifier.) Ultima Spark (talk) 10:04, 20 June 2020 (UTC)

I have a question... Since you've shared mechanics and bestiary stuff from both the KHII (plus KHIIFM) and KHIII Ultimanias, with them being "(KHII, mechanics + backups from Pastebin)" and "(KHIII, mechanics + backups from Pastebin)", will you eventually do the same for Re:Chain of Memories (which is from the KHIIFM Ultimania), as well as Birth by Sleep and Dream Drop Distance? --KHFan91 (talk) 16:23, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
