With regards to sourcing

  • The Weekly Shonen Jump thing doesn't need a link. It should just be of in citing format, something like "Weekly Shonen Jump March 2006, Issue 83" or whatever.
  • KHinsider and other fansites cannot be sourced for any reason. The original source should be cited, and linked if possible.(ಠ_ೃ) Bully! 18:06, December 9, 2010 (UTC)

The siliconera cite is pretty much a translation of the Famitsu article (down to the name), but here's the code if you guys find something else to use it for:

  • <ref>[http://www.siliconera.com/2010/10/15/kingdom-hearts-birth-by-sleep-final-mix-has-a-whale-of-a-multiplayer-fight/ '''''Siliconera''': Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep Final Mix Has A Whale Of A Multiplayer Fight'' (Oct. 15, 2010)]</ref>

Once the two cite bits above are addressed, I think this is ready to port.(ಠ_ೃ) Bully! 18:29, December 9, 2010 (UTC)

I can't read Japanese well enough to find the Famitsu interview in which he says "In the Secret Episode, you'll actually be able to control characters. I think you'll be able to relish a different kind of surprise to simply watching a movie." If someone else, one of our Japanese-reading contributors can cite this, that would be great. Additionally I cannot find an issue number for the Shonen Jump image. I'm pretty sure it's Vol. 8 issue #10, but I can't find any hard evidence on this as I don't actually have the magazine. NB: The translated Famitsu interview is from Nov 18, 2010. But when I go through the November archives of their website, there's no interviews with Nomura for the month of November as far as I can tell... Soxxeh 05:13, December 10, 2010 (UTC)

Cite 1 is just a scan of the magazine. It's from Sept 14. There's no translation of this or any official citations online... This is already in the article as-is, though. Cite 4 is not translated officially anywhere, nor is the Famitsu interview posted. It's only in the magazine. And Cite 5 is a Heartstation translation of another bit about the Secret Episode. If we don't accept 4 or 5, we have no citation about the Secret Episode. In short, what do we do about the lack of Famitsu citations, seeing as it's ONLY in the magazine? Cite 1 should be cited to the actual issue, like I said earlier. See wikipedia for the traditional format for such citations. If you want to include a link to the scan within the ref, that will work, but the cite is improper as it is.
Cite 4 should also be cited to the actual interview, with a link to the source of the translation if desired. As it is, there is absolutely no way for someone to verify the cite without checking every issue of Famitsu.
Cite 5 - fansites are absolutely unacceptable as citations, at any point, ever. Cite directly to their source, or not at all."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 23:58, December 13, 2010 (UTC)
Then we have to remove the Secret Episode & initial release announcement information from the article. Famitsu has not put the interview online, nor does anyone seem to have a copy of it, and since we can't cite translations (despite it being done in dozens of other articles here), we can't have it here. As for the Shonen Jump, they don't even have a database of issues released, let alone contents of the magazine online, and once again no one in our community has a copy of it. We're SOL, I'm afraid. Plan B? [PS: How come the KH3D article has fansite citations?] Soxxeh 12:42am, December 14, 2010 (UTC)
...if you can figure out the issue number of the Famitsu interview, you just cite it like you do when doing a report for school. I'm not asking anything magical here."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 01:06, December 14, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, just got it through a magical game of guess-and-check. I've put it in the article, as well as the Shonen Jump issue (2010, Vol 41). Soxxeh 1:41am, December 14, 2010 (UTC)
It was 39, actually. [1] "We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 02:04, December 14, 2010 (UTC)
And on September 13th, apparently. I'll correct those. (Geez, can't trust the Internet anymore -_-) Soxxeh 2:08am, December 14, 2010 (UTC)
