AnsemEdit

Ansem (Xehanort's Heartless) Appears twice in the templace, one that links to his Boss strategy and other that links to his character. Shouldn't it just appear only once linking to the Boss strategy? Is there a reason for him appearing twice or it's a mistake

If I understand the MOS correctly, only the enemy page should have it.

Then I understand the template should be removed from Xehanort's Heartless character page as well so it only appears in his Boss page?

Guard ArmorEdit

So when is the Guard Armor fought in 358? From the video walkthrough I've been watching, which goes up to Day 121, it doesn't seem to have appeared yet.Glorious CHAOS! 23:11, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

I forget when exactly, but it's at Olympus Coliseum.

DaysEdit

I've added in all fo the bosses from that mission list we have, in journal (not mission) order. Quite a few of them appear to simply be regular enemies, but the "boss" section of the journal does not include all of the clearly boss ones, like the Debris Flow super-boss or Dual Blade types. We'll have to re-evaluate this once we get the game and can go over it more clearly.Glorious CHAOS! 00:07, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Okay, the game has two different types of enemy missions that the guide considers bosses: "Destroy the Giant Heartless" and "Eliminate the Heartless Threat". The second type are the ones we traditionally consider bosses - the Leechgrave, the Guard Armor, etc. However, this does not include the Darkside and Dark Follower. The game also uses the cutscene and boss music for less than the guide lists, so if someone wanted to go through and catalogue every use of that song, we could do that. I would honestly suggest just using those who are "eliminate the Heartless threat", and we could maybe throw in the Darks out of logic.Glorious CHAOS! 02:53, October 11, 2009 (UTC)

QuestionEdit

Shouldn't we only list the first appearance of the Heartless Bosses, like we do with other nav templates? And if not, we should add the CoM bosses, and Ansem for DDD, as well as put the Final Mix bosses together with the regular ones. TheSilentHero 18:00, 4 June 2016 (UTC)

Personally, I don't have a problem with a full list seeing as the navbar doesn't suffer from being too long. However, I get that it would be more consistent if we list it by first appearance, in which case I suggest that we possibly reorganise List of Bosses to list game by game rather than by boss type. And yes, those should be added. TheFifteenthMember 21:20, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
Although I don't have a problem with the current list either, it would have a lot of double links. For example, the Darkside would be linked under KH, CoM, KHD, KHRec, and KHx. For the same reason, I think we should keep the List of Bosses page as it is. TheSilentHero 21:55, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
I made two versions of the template, one where bosses are only listed for the first game they appear in, and one where they are listed under every game. Which version looks better? TheSilentHero 18:04, 6 June 2016 (UTC)
The first one is missing many of the variants."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 18:16, 6 June 2016 (UTC)
Hmm, I can't decide. I guess it is better to be able to navigate through the list of all bosses for every game, since the are more important then the regular enemies. On the other hand they are not exactly hidden in the games so you will always be able to find the information here regardless. Maybe it's best to go with the "introduced in" route for the sake of consistency. --ShardofTruth 21:51, 6 June 2016 (UTC)
If we're keeping all the Chi remodels, we should have the ones from other games as well. If not, then we should eliminate them across the board and focus on archetypes."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 21:57, 6 June 2016 (UTC)
Maybe we should go for the second option, as the KHx section looks better on that one. TheSilentHero 17:10, 7 June 2016 (UTC)

They use that for every boss-type quest, but I'm not sure if they start doing that at a certain quest, or if they changed that for all boss-type quests in a certain update. TheSilentHero 17:12, 26 June 2018 (UTC)

Smasher and AmberEdit

While the objects are listed in the "other" section since they're originally characters, as enemies they're being piloted by Heartless, aren't they? Wouldn't we treat them like the Gargoyles and Possessor bits?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 23:42, 15 February 2019 (UTC)

Because they are living beings possessed, not objects. Buzz too is possessed by a Marionette, but he is not considered an Heartless--93.150.192.185 00:32, 16 February 2019 (UTC)
Except that we do consider possessed people heartless elsewhere, plus these have the emblem."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 15:07, 16 February 2019 (UTC)
