Hostile Program and the Experiment

If they haven't appeared in a Disney film, they're original characters.

KrytenKoro - "Give a man a fire and he's warm for the day. But set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life." TALK - Technically, the pieces of the Experiment appeared in the film. On that basis, wouldn't Scar's Ghost, Oogie's Manor, the Crank Tower, and Jafar's Shadow be removed as well? None of them appeared in that manner in the original films, even though they're designed as Disney characters in the games.

TALK - I guess I was a little bit unclear. I mean that, defining it on so technical a basis results in loss of meaning - all of these, while variations on Disney's original material, are still all clearly "set" in Disney stories.

Those two enemies were created for the game only, even if they were influenced by Disney. Hell, some of the Heartless are influenced by Disney, but that doesn't make them Disney characters.
