If I'm remembering MoS correctly, these should just be at "Sleepy", "Doc", etc., as those page titles aren't currently being used for non-redirect/disambiguation titles. Since we've collected the character articles into the "Seven Dwarves" page, the commands don't have "competition". Parsers and Disambigs are supposed to be used when we have two or more equally primary uses of the exact same term (for example, Oblivion and Castle Oblivion do not require a parser/disambig, nor do Gate and Gates). "Diamond Dust" would be such an article, although it was formulated when we were treating items as primary, so it should probably be parsed like the abilities (which should be merged, probably). Combo Boost is another good example of articles meeting this criteria (although it also is not parsed correctly, I think). In short, parsers should be used when, in a theoretical framework where we've given each page its most accurate name, we still have pages that have the same names."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." I'm in favour of not having the tag. TheFifteenthMember 17:34, 4 February 2016 (UTC)
The theory sounds logical. However, I think that out of the 10 people looking for Sleepy or any of the other dwarves, at least 9 of them are looking for the character, and not the command. I'm in favor of keeping the tag. TheSilentHero 17:47, 4 February 2016 (UTC)
Right, but that's why we have the youmays. We don't need to create whole new pages as redirects when we have those, it's the point."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 00:25, 5 February 2016 (UTC)
Right. If we move these pages, can we remove the youmay from the Seven Dwarfs page? TheSilentHero 17:53, 5 February 2016 (UTC)
I'm not sure that makes sense. The whole point of having the youmay is that it makes it unnecessary to parse the pages as we have them now. If we remove the youmay (whether or not we remove the parsers), then those who end up on the dwarves page wouldn't have an obvious way to get to the command pages."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." True. I changed the youmay template so it actually links to the command pages (well, not yet, but they will when the pages are moved). I think the pages can be moved now. TheSilentHero 17:59, 6 February 2016 (UTC)
So... could you move the pages now? (I could do it myself, but that would leave redirects, which someone should delete afterwards.) TheSilentHero 22:30, 8 February 2016 (UTC)
