They seem to be the same character but they have different personalitys and capt.pete isnt evil yet. The one which should be merged is Lion Pete and Pete.
Well, Pete himself doesn't change into this form when he goes into Timeless River, so I say it remains as a separate character.
And offtopic, but I was wondering about Donald and Goofy; they've got their costumes in BbS, so should they be counted as forms?

True, he doesn't change into it, but it is what he was, still making it a form of Pete. And no, about Donald and Goofy. Those are mere changes in outfit, similar to Ping or Jack Skellington's Santa outfit.

We count their retro forms because the change happens when the enter Timeless river. When Pete entered timeless river he maintained his normal appearance.

I know that Pete is a villan, but he looks like he is the only character (besides Sora, Donald, Goofy and Riku) who has a change of form. I think he should have his own page with his lion form, calling it Lion Pete. I know it is silly, but Sora has many forms, both Donald and Goofy have six forms (encluding KHIIFM+) and Riku has two forms. Pete should also have a page for his Lion form. Does anyone agree with me?
When you put it in that light, yes, but come to think of it, apart from his appearance with Scar in the Pride Lands, what more info can you place in there ? It'll remain as a stub !

I think they should be merged with Pete, for the time being. When Birth By Sleep is released, maybe we can make seperate articles for Dark and Light. But only if they are major characters in the story.

So, I saw that the Captain Dark/Light pages have merge templates on them which directed me here. I suggest that we keep the pages as forms, considering how Pete already has another form. So... I suggest they stay, not as character pages, but as forms.
Now that Captain Justice and Captain Dark have been merged, why are we keeping the links to them, again, since they all redirect to Pete ? It's irksome.

Actually, Minnie banished him to the other dimension because a few people voted for him and believed in him and he just brushed them off. This appalled Minnie so she had the brooms carry him off to "cool off for a while". However, this creates a bit of a plot hole:

I want to see if anyone can verify that it's only a "chance" that he's unlocked at the end of a game where he appears from one of the Special Panels. In my experience, he was always unlocked the first time he appeared, so long as the game wasn't played as an Event in the Mirage Arena. It also appears to unlock regardless of whether you have any contact with him during the board game or whether you win or lose. On two different occasions I unlocked him without ever being near the player who was unfortunate enough to have a run in with his Captain Dark persona, one of those ended in a loss on my behalf. - -Moomba- 16:19, September 22, 2010 (UTC)

I tend to agree that this image should be in the infobox, if Captain Pete is. I'm not sure whether it's standard to include "as the character ages" in the main infobox, though...do we do that for Sora, Riku, Kairi, or Xehanort?
If we want to, that's totally something we can do, and would require just a bit of code fiddling to set the "most current appearance" as the one that displays on page load.

Well there's a page for Old Time Pete so I thought I would make a page for his other form. After all every other main character has separate pages for their different forms.

There is a Form:Pete page already, and it covers his Lion Form, so I think this can be deleted.

While on the same subject, I would like to point out that all of Sora's World Forms (same with Donald's and Goofy's) still have separate articles, too, but they have their own Forms pages. All of of their world forms are listed on their pages. I've been meaning to ask about when to delete all of them (given that all info from the separate articles has been transferred to the Forms pages).
Instead of deleting them, perhaps let's make redirects of these old page names to the Form pages? Don't know how viable it is...

All of the world Form pages have fan names so they shouldn't have any place on our wiki. We should go through each of them, change the links of any article that links to them, and then delete them. The only page that should stay is Lion Form because it's actually different in gameplay and the name is official.

Yeah, that sounds good. Using the old pages as redirects is a good idea, too. I don't have any objections to that, but it's going to take some time do it. Any other suggestions anyone would like to mention?
I noticed that the page now speculates that collecting money might be how to fill Pete's D-Link command gauge. Personally, I had speculated differently, thinking that the key is to inflict a status effect on an enemy. --JeruTz (talk) 12:57, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
In this video, you can see someone use Surprise! to make the Unknown drop munny, quickly switch to Pete's D-Link, which immediately fills the gauge without attacking because of the munny. I have also tested myself, and I'm pretty sure the munny is giving the bonus. TheSilentHero 17:48, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
